It’s About Time! Dwight McKissic Leaving the SBC Because it Isn’t Woke Enough

(Reformation Charlotte) Dwight McKissic, a racist, anti-gospel charismatic tongue-babbling black nationalist who masquerades as a shepherd of God’s people has done more to harm the body of Christ than possibly any other Southern Baptist pastor in history. McKissic, a Marxist and a socialist egalitarian, has regularly traded the gospel and the mission of the Church for social activism, called for slave reparations, and repeatedly maligned true defenders of the faith as “racists” and “white supremacists.”

Not only has McKissic stated that the founders of the Southern Baptist Convention were not saved because they were slave-holders and that their history must be eradicated, but he has also argued that voting for pro-abortion Democrats is no different than voting for Republicans who want to “place children in cages.”

McKissic has been instrumental in the Southern Baptist Convention’s hard slide to the left in recent years. Dwight McKissic sponsored an anti-“alt-right” resolution at the Southern Baptist Convention in 2017 which basically denounced conservatism and implied that…

  1. As he and others like him lead the cavalry charge under the banner of wokeness and CRT, they haven’t bothered looking behind them. If they did, they would see the Black Hebrew Israelites advancing on their rear and ready to eat their lunch.

  2. I wonder how big of a church, in terms of membership, he supposedly pastors, but then again it would probably depress me to know how big it was and how many people are that gullible.

  3. Just read the recent article about Jamar Tisby on the “Reformation Charlotte” website, which is an offshoot of this one, now it’s easy to see why what’s happened to Ligon Duncan, which caused me to leave my last church when he was allowed to preach twice over the last 2 to 3 years.

I think it’s important for us to understand that Tisby, along with McKissack, keep pushing their narratives because they’re all about slavery. It’s just that they want to be the ones holding the whip this time and it seems like a lot of folks in our country are OK with that, including in the church because they can’t get over their supposed “guilt.” Maybe they have watched Django Unchained” too much, especially the scene where Django gets to whip one of the guys that works at “Big Daddy” Bennett’s plantation. It’s all about turning the tables, don’t you see?

    1. I just read the Reformation Charlotte article “Why does Jamar Tisby lie so much” also. Couldn’t help but notice that after Russell Moore became President of ERLC in middle of 2013 there’s a been a token resolution every year since 2015 denouncing “racism” in the Baptist church. Intentional time wasting political posturing for attention and holier than thou liberal arrogance.

It’s time for a resolution condemning CRT, especially as an essential part of Black Liberation Theology, and all Liberation Theology, asserting that all churches that hold those theologies are not to be considered members of the SBC. They can leave and join other associations or be “independent Baptist” churches. Maybe it should be accompanied by a warning to the race hucksters to read Matt 18:28-35 – “Pay what you owe me!” Their personal hate and stoking of hatred in others is not going unobserved; the “other servants” are always watching. Of course that’s assuming modern middle class and upper class blacks are even owed anything.

  4. Dave Miller must be a basket case over this news. Same for William Thornton, Brent Hobbs, Ryan Abernathy and all the other Manly Men who comprise the Sanhedrin over at SBCvoices. I can imagine the rending of garments and the covering themselves in sackcloth and ashes upon learning of this catastrophe. How is the SBC even supposed to be able to hold a proper annual convention without having to consider yet another of McKissic’s ridiculous resolutions? CRT is so obviously poison sent from hell and it really tells a sad tale that it has become the camel with its nose under the SBC tent.
