Pastor Tim Keller, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer has gotten his results back, and it’s good news.
Keller was diagnosed with pancreatic back in June 2020 and thankfully has been taking positive steps towards recovery, writing that his recent CAT scans show continued improvement and the physician is “surprised” and “delighted” with the headway he is having as he burns through rounds of chemotherapy, calling his progress “incredible.”
Though we generally regard Keller as imminently theologically dangerous, with links to why here, we wish him a swift and ongoing recovery.
We wrote three weeks ago how certain men who make a living creeping in unawares have been waging a war to shave points off the evangelical vote for Trump and turn the tides of war towards the baby-killing braggarts of the Democratic Party. According to exit polls released by the New York Times, they got their wish.
In 2016, Evangelicals voted 81%-16% for the Republican Party. Following four years of leftists losing their ever-loving minds and promising a radical mandate that would make even Canada blush, the numbers shifted to 78%-23%, with Trump losing 3% but most alarmingly, Biden gaining 7% of the evangelical vote.
While not claiming to be prophets, we said last month, “The good news is that Donald Trump is gaining supporters in the black and Hispanic community commensurate with what he’s losing in evangelicalism. And the irony is sweet; the evangelical talking point against Donald Trump is that he’s racist. It would only make sense in God’s divine irony to make up for his evangelical losses in minority communities.” By all accounts, this has occurred, with Trump gaining large swaths of the Black and Latino vote.
Men and ministries that have encouraged people to either vote for the Democrats, or vote for either party include Tim Keller, JD Greear, TGC, 9 Marks Ministries, John Piper, David Platt, Thabiti Anyabwile, Russell Moore, and a host of others.

Tragic news this morning. Reformed Writer and Pastor Tim Challies made the gut-wrenching announcement that his only son passed away yesterday unexpectedly.
His son Nick was “playing a game with his sister and fiancée and many other students when he suddenly collapsed, never regaining consciousness. Students, paramedics, and doctors battled valiantly, but could not save him.”
By all accounts, Nick was a believer and the Lord took him home.

“In all the years I’ve been writing I have never had to type words more difficult, more devastating than these: Yesterday the Lord called my son to himself—my dear son, my sweet son, my kind son, my godly son, my only son.
Nick was playing a game with his sister and fiancée and many other students when he suddenly collapsed, never regaining consciousness. Students, paramedics, and doctors battled valiantly, but could not save him. He’s with the Lord he loved, the Lord he longed to serve. We have no answers to the what or why questions.
Yesterday Aileen and I cried and cried until we could cry no more, until there were no tears left to cry. Then, later in the evening, we looked each other in the eye and said, “We can do this.” We don’t want to do this, but we can do this—this sorrow, this grief, this devastation—because we know we don’t have to do it in our own strength. We can do it like Christians, like a son and daughter of the Father who knows what it is to lose a Son.
We travelled through the night to get to Louisville so we could be together as a family. And we ask that you remember us in your prayers as we mourn our loss together. We know there will be gruelling days and sleepless nights ahead. But for now, even though our minds are bewildered and our hearts are broken, our hope is fixed and our faith is holding. Our son is home.”
On the Charisma News website an article was posted about the faith of President Trump. The story of money-grubbing false prophetess and pastrix Paul White-Cain leading President Trump in praying where he presumably asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior. It is difficult to say if it is true, but one has to wonder, did the prayer include a confession of sin and repentance? The reason that needs to be asked is because President Trump stated that he doesn’t believe he has ever asked for repentance of anything, because “he tries to live a good life” and fix anything he does that is bad “without getting God involved,” and this was after his meeting with floozy pastrix White-Cain.
The author, Dr. Jim Garlow, talks about a timeline since that fateful meeting. It is an account of Trump’s spiritual walk and how he is progressing and maturing as a Christian. A reference of how the President was a little confused when people laid hands on him to pray for him but that now he is asking his team of spiritual advisors and others to lay hands on him and pray. Dr. Garlow spends the rest of the article expressing his observation and opinion about the spiritual state of President Trump.
In the middle of his section on the character of President Trump, Dr. Garlow relates the following Damascus Road esperience:
I have observed politics and government closely since age nine when Dwight Eisenhower was running against Adlai Stevenson. (I know that is strange, but from August 13 of my ninth year, a “government anointing”—that’s what I call it—came upon me, I have followed politics virtually every day since).
Under this reckoning, there are a lot of people who have this anointing. I could have this anointing because I follow politics every day. I’m not consumed by it, but I stay informed. Anyone could have this anointing. There could be millions. This could be the most common anointing in the spiritual world. All the false prophets who make their false prophecies about politics could have the anointing, too. I suspect my cat may have a government anointing as well.
There is no such thing as a special anointing like a “government anointing” or any other of the myriad of anointings that are espoused by Charismaniacs. They are made up as if the term adds weight to the word salad of the claimant. And I am also certain that if Dr. Michael Brown reads this, he will have Dr. Garlow on his radio program to defend his self-proclaimed anointing.
It’s official. As of midnight November 5th, the UK is entering a strict second lockdown, absolutely prohibiting the physical gathering of churches for at least 4 weeks, whether indoors or outdoors, in order to curb their COVID cases.
The UK currently has a million confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, 45,000 deaths, and averaging about 20,000 new cases a day. There are currently over 10,000 patients hospitalized and nearly 1000 on ventilators. On a population-adjusted level, they are doing worse than the United States is.
We wrote to you last week about how the police were given the power to enter people’s homes if they thought too many people were gathering, or if they thought that more than one authorized households were meeting together. Now, as the UK deals with elevated COVID-19 cases, they’re shutting things down.
Apart from closing all businesses other than “essential services” and prohibiting people to meet friends and family, they’re shutting down churches as well for the next month, and possibly longer. Failure to comply will result in eye-watering fines and could include jail time. According to the posted edict:
Weddings, civil partnerships, religious services and funerals
Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people, and it is advised that only close friends and family attend.
Weddings, civil partnership ceremonies will not be permitted to take place except in exceptional circumstances.
Places of Worship will be closed, unless they are being used for:
Funerals To broadcast acts of worship Individual prayer Formal childcare or where part of a school Essential voluntary and public services, such as blood donation or food banks Other exempted activities such as some support groups
In a letter signed by Cardinal Vincent Nichols of Westminster and Archbishop Malcolm McMahon of Liverpool, these Catholic officials questioned the government’s decision to shut down their churches, writing:
Our communities have done a great deal to make our churches safe places in which all have been able to gather in supervised and disciplined ways. It is thus a source of deep anguish now that the Government is requiring, once again, the cessation of public communal worship.
Whilst we understand the many difficult decisions facing the government, we have not yet seen any evidence whatsoever that would make the banning of communal worship, with all its human costs, a productive part of combatting the virus. We ask the government to produce this evidence that justifies the cessation of acts of public worship.
With Europe as a whole shutting down again in a second wave, UK is not the first, nor will they be the last. Pray for our brothers and sisters across the sea.

“Reformed” rapper Lecrae, far removed from his articulation of a biblical worldview and now firmly riding at the back of the #wokebus, has come out with a stellar strategy and justification for reducing abortions that boils down to a tricksy progressive scheme.
Those watching the trajectory of Lecrae “He went out from us” Moore knows that’s he has been in a bad way for years. He shows clear signs that any semblance of formerly professing Christian faith is nearly non-existent, from promoting and fawning over abortion-loving Democrat Stacey Abrams, to sputtering “You know…well…um…er….ah….I don’t know” when asked about the sin of homosexuality in an interview.
It’s no surprise then that a recent Tweet is particualrily illogical and egregious:
Translation: “Let us steal from you or we will kill our babies. P.S.: Vote Democrat.”
Lecrae’s bright idea to suggest extortion under threat of escalating the incidences of mushed-up baby skulls and cranking up the vacuum suction on that dilation and curettage machine is a bold one for sure. You almost want to ask if he knows how women get pregnant and where babies come from, given that none of his proposals are actually required to conceive and not kill a child.
For someone who paid for a woman to have an abortion back in 2002, you’d think he’d have a deeper appreciation for how morally monstrous that really is, this is, notwithstanding the fact that the “systemic racism” and “income gap” that’s caused so much poverty in the black community comes from leftists whose policies created fatherless homes and welfare dependence.
There’s so much stupid and outrageous about his liberal talking point, however, that we and others can easily play the same game. Rather than abolishing slavery:

Here’s another way to reduce abortion: don’t vote for the party that idolizes Planned Parenthood – the apex-predator of the baby-killing world, and don’t vote for the party that wants to paint the country red with the slurry of scrambled baby parts in the name of feminism and personal choice, vowing to do all they can to entrench and embed that right into law.
The recently revealed “peeing pastor,” who drunkenly urinated on a fellow passenger during a late-night Delta Flight has stepped down from his role at Catch The Fire Raleigh.
Daniel Chalmers, Pastor of Love Wins Ministries, was axed from his position at the church after it was determined that his behavior disqualified him from ministry.

Consequently Alicia Beverly, the victim, filed a lawsuit against Raleigh’s Love Wins Ministries and Daniel Chalmers for $2,000,000+ plus attorney fees, alleging severe emotional distress, anxiety, shock, humiliation, and grief due to the incident.
As far as legal ramifications, Chalmers could receive an assault charge, indecent exposure, and some form of sexual battery, receiving up to 6 months in prison.
(Politico) When Jerry Falwell Jr. and his wife Becki strolled around the Lynchburg, Va., campus of Liberty University, the evangelical school which Falwell led as president, they would play a secret game called “Would you rather.”
The middle-aged couple would point to students, men and women, and imagine what it would be like to have sex with them, according to a former student who said Becki told him about the game.
The former student, a member of a band with the Falwells’ son Trey, has said that Becki initiated oral sex with him while he stayed overnight at the Falwell home, following other attempts to seduce him. She confided to him the details of the game she and her husband would play, and told him multiple times how she and Jerry would take note of students’ appearances.
“Her and Jerry would eye people down on campus,” the former student, who was 22 when Becki performed oral sex on him and is now 32, said. “She didn’t go into specifics, but said, ‘Oh, me and Jerry play games all the time, like “Would you rather?” with people on campus.’ I’ll never forget that.”
