A 70-year-old Independent fundamentalist Baptist pastor is being held on a $750,000 bond after being charged with multiple sex crimes against his own relatives, according to KMBC News:
“Wade Booth was arrested in Linn County, Kansas, on four counts of child sex crimes including aggravated incest and aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim.
The incident or incidents occurred between Jan. 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026, according to a criminal complaint.”
Booth, who has pastored the church for 20 years, faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted.
A statement from the church explains “Wade Booth confessed to what he did,” and so “there is no argument from the church regarding innocence or an attempt to defends his actions.”

Does not speak well for so called bielievers baptism does it. you wont find a infant do that they dont rape murder or molest oher people. You can safely baptism them . but watch out after that. Think of Solomon a really really smart guy. lot smarter than some infant baby or me or you too. What happened you would have thought he would have been a safe one to baptise . The only one that really knows a person is an adult believer or not really is God and the person.. Read your bible find out how God fustrates the Smart one … The creater of all creatures becomes his own cresture being so foolish to Go to the cross for the sins of the whole world . .. ah but the foolishness of God is wiser than all men and the weakness of God is stronger than all men.
1 Tim. 3:1-5, yet again. Is there any doubt we are in the last days? (2 Thess. 2:3, Matt. 24:9-14, etc.) It is staggering the number of individuals standing behind the pulpit who are not truly born again, much less those sitting in the pews. He might’ve confessed by man’s standards, but he did not confess and repent by God’s standards. He merely admitted what he did when he got caught. Prior to that he was intimidating those he sinned against. He continued in his sin to the point that the type of sins being committed became severe. Sin compounding on sin. It did not start with incest and rape. A truly born again Christian, indwelled by the Holy Spirit, penitent and humble in the sight of the Lord, would never reach that point. So he did not “confess” by the Biblical definition of the word, which means “to agree” – i.e., to consistently agree with the Lord always and continually, not just every now and then when one gets caught, but to be in agreement with the Lord long before the sin ever extends beyond a single thought – which is the power and work of the Holy Spirit, to do that which we cannot do of our own accord. That is the Gospel. It is “this Gospel” that Jesus is talking about in Matt. 24 – the true Gospel and the real Jesus – not a false gospel of a false image of Jesus.
Pre Lutherans , The reason Babies are the safest people to baptise is because babies can NOT disbelieve in God ,As older childern and of course adults have; even the wisest person ever ,king soloman used his wisdom to disbeleive God. My post was not really about being against “adult baptism” but rather the thinking that Baptist churchs Baptise believers only … Just like like the rest of christian churchs they can only try and make a godly guess which older persons believe. And The bible no where says you have to confess Jesus Before being baptised ! No where does it say that ! Why ?because all nations includes Babies and God thought of every person including babies when he Told his deciples to go baptise them… So now you know the why .And that it can be done after being baptised Forinfants or as they grow up , they may ever sunday like its Done in most christian churches in the world by way of the christian creeds ! Now in the case of infants. They could have confessed Jesus; As only God understands what the little ones are confessing to any who hears in there utterences. Actully The biblical proof God wants infant babies to be baptised .i have per mission to use it by the LCMS pastor that took the time to present it .. But instead i gave the link .The link gave the discription and the lutheran source. But I dont think protestia which is a pre lutheran site is ready for such convincing scripural evidence as of yet. There best scriptual evidence from guys like John McCargarther its not convincing at all when compared with the so many scripture passages and precise greek words refering to infant belief in Jesus.this Lutheran pastor has given.
Maybe there will be a something on the puritians and why they dissapered from american christianity after the Witch Hangings in Salem massachusetts. they caused lots of problems for christisnity in their day . they were definetly intresting, i bought some of their books on their teachings when visiting plymouth Massachusetts. Some years ago . their book on raising a Godly family were not exspencive even at plymouth rock book store prices ,i think it cost under 15 dollars. the little book was Mass produced for tourists .. Since the puritian recanted how they treated people and dissapeared from american christianity. It surprising how many people would even want to be linked with them !
Independit Baptist churchs were really being investigated hard , less than ten years ago for the same things. because there was so manny sexual crimes in their churchs by their pastors and other staff members in their churchs. Each one of their pastors are pope
of there church . No one to go to if your a kid being molested by one of their popish pastors in their churchs . they were telling kids no one will believe them in that church that how it got so bad and finaly police were notified and it was all over other baptist sources and other people in other independent baptist churchs ,then came forward with their sexual abuse stories . the guy from pulpit and Pen blog i think may have started writing about all the child sexual abuse at the time also. It was on RNS and lots of news every one was shocked because of the so many times it was happening in so many independent baptist churchs. Christian post i think had articles on it and their head guy though is southern baptist .
One has to remember baptist type people run just about all the christian forums and christian news other than the Roman catholics which have many sources of their own too. lutheran christian news the vast majority of it never hardly even mentions people from or other denominations.
