A 70-year-old Independent fundamentalist Baptist pastor is being held on a $750,000 bond after being charged with multiple sex crimes against his own relatives, according to KMBC News:
“Wade Booth was arrested in Linn County, Kansas, on four counts of child sex crimes including aggravated incest and aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim.
The incident or incidents occurred between Jan. 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026, according to a criminal complaint.”
Booth, who has pastored the church for 20 years, faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted.
A statement from the church explains “Wade Booth confessed to what he did,” and so “there is no argument from the church regarding innocence or an attempt to defends his actions.”

Does not speak well for so called bielievers baptism does it. you wont find a infant do that they dont rape murder or molest oher people. You can safely baptism them . but watch out after that. Think of Solomon a really really smart guy. lot smarter than some infant baby or me or you too. What happened you would have thought he would have been a safe one to baptise . The only one that really knows a person is an adult believer or not really is God and the person.. Read your bible find out how God fustrates the Smart one … The creater of all creatures becomes his own cresture being so foolish to Go to the cross for the sins of the whole world . .. ah but the foolishness of God is wiser than all men and the weakness of God is stronger than all men.
1 Tim. 3:1-5, yet again. Is there any doubt we are in the last days? (2 Thess. 2:3, Matt. 24:9-14, etc.) It is staggering the number of individuals standing behind the pulpit who are not truly born again, much less those sitting in the pews. He might’ve confessed by man’s standards, but he did not confess and repent by God’s standards. He merely admitted what he did when he got caught. Prior to that he was intimidating those he sinned against. He continued in his sin to the point that the type of sins being committed became severe. Sin compounding on sin. It did not start with incest and rape. A truly born again Christian, indwelled by the Holy Spirit, penitent and humble in the sight of the Lord, would never reach that point. So he did not “confess” by the Biblical definition of the word, which means “to agree” – i.e., to consistently agree with the Lord always and continually, not just every now and then when one gets caught, but to be in agreement with the Lord long before the sin ever extends beyond a single thought – which is the power and work of the Holy Spirit, to do that which we cannot do of our own accord. That is the Gospel. It is “this Gospel” that Jesus is talking about in Matt. 24 – the true Gospel and the real Jesus – not a false gospel of a false image of Jesus.
