Prominent Christian apologist William Lane Craig’s name is most often associated with his ministry organization Reasonable Faith, the name of his most famous book and also weekly podcast.
While cosplaying as a conservative Christian voice and leader, he is more philosopher than theologian, and his recent spate of biblical pronouncements show.

In a recent video posted to his YouTube page, William Lane Craig responded to LutheranSatire’s video “Donall and Conall Meet William Lane Craig,” which takes him to task for his view that most of the early chapters of the book of Genesis were myths.
Here, he repeats a frequent criticism he has of young-earth creationists who believe the earth is less than 10,000 years old (which he frequently calls an ’embarrassment’) by likening them to flat-earthers.

Thank you so much to this author for penning this piece and for protestia.com posting it! Craig is more dangerous than any outside enemy. His blasphemous lies help the pagans and atheists try to destroy the Christian faith. At times, it is impossible to even know what side the man is on. Thank you faithfully exposing this enemy of the faith.
Young earth creationism destroys faith since it creates an artificial standard that is not found in the text. It’s one of the most damaging teachings protestants have introduced into the world.
Except that the Bible has been proven true over and over again. Are YOU in for a big surprise.
Is there an ocean above the sky?
Craig’s Old Earth genesis-is-myth view, and the Young Earth, genesis-is-young view are not the only two ways to read Genesis. In Robert Sheldon’s “The Long Ascent: Genesis 1-11 in Science and Myth”, is an intermediate view that places the Flood at 9590BC, and Eden at 11,700BC with both scientific and historical data. You CAN have it all.
I’m not necessarily rejecting the possibility of the flood being 9,590 BC and creation 11,700 BC. It is not how I personally read Genesis. But that is not having it all. Craig and other evolutionists would laugh at the idea of the earth being under 13,000 old. 13,000 years, while giving more wiggle room for certain archeological claims, is still considered young earth to evolutionary biologists, geologists, and astronomers.
Although Craig has good arguments against atheism, he is calling God the Father and Son LIARS. Jesus told us that God made man “in the beginning.” Paul states that MAN brought death to the world because of sin. Craig either calls Paul a liar, or thinks all animals never died until Adam chose to sin.
There were entire civilizations before 6000bc
Google says “Craig is known for his traditional, conservative views on marriage and sexuality, often arguing against same-sex marriage” -so apparently THAT’s about all he’s correct about.
With apologists like Craig, who needs heretics?
Heresy is acknowledge fossils and early writing exists.
so sad that WLC has gone down this road. He used to offer pretty sound theological positions.

I guess I must be kin with flat-earthers then. I thank Mr. Craig for letting me know. I will wear that badge of association with honor.

Should be a good read…
One of the pitfalls of apologetics. He has cared too much about the opinion of the wicked world, how the world views Christians, and that is what has led him astray. He has made himself a servant of the commandments of men, and set the commandments of men in a place above the commandments of God.
Who cares what the wicked world thinks? I couldn’t possibly give less of a hoot what they think …
I stood for creation science all throughout my school days, even in debates with instructors. I buckled down, did the work, studied hard, and carried a 4.0 GPA. None could shame me. And that’s how it’s done …
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes …”
“For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.”
Which part of the Gospel mandates a 6000 year old earth?
Should clarify. In total throughout college my cumulative GPA was 3.8. I don’t have to tell anyone that my english and writing skills are fairly terrible. In courses such as that, I barely made it through. I carried the 4.0 through information and computer science.
To this day, I still cannot figure out where commas are supposed to go lol …
In my younger days I cared a lot more what others thought. But I look back and see that there was wickedness in my heart.
The snare is convincing ourselves that our survival is dependent on what others think. It is not. That’s a lie. And the truth is pretty much the opposite of that. Our survival depends on the Lord. And when we begin to understand how that works, and how it is the irrefutable truth, and not just something we say, that’s when we begin to come to a “knowledge of the truth.”
It is the same snare as the desire for wealth.
Pretty much the same snare that has existed since the beginning, and it had nothing to do with what others thought, because there were no others. Adam and Eve had all they needed and much more, but the serpent caught them in that snare …
If you care too much about what others think, you are just about guaranteed to stray … you’ll be a servant of the wicked world, rather than a servant of the Lord.
