‘The Chosen’ to Debut All 8 Episodes in Movie Theaters
The Chosen will likely debut all eight episodes of their fourth season in theaters before hitting their free streaming service, according to Director Dallas Jenkins in a live-streamed wrap party.
Calling it “the most impactful season we’ve ever done emotionally and spiritually” and “more intense than I thought,” Jenkins shared the news of his hit TV show about the life of Jesus, saying that while he wasn’t ‘certain’ it was happening, it was the current plan.
“Season four is actually coming in theaters, in late January or early February.. and we’re looking towards actually releasing all of the episodes in theaters this year, not just two of them.”
It’s not the first time The Chosen has appeared in theaters. Last year they launched the first two episodes of season 3 in more than 2000 theaters worldwide, grossing nearly $15M dollars.
