TX Church Uses 1000 Drones to Tell Christmas Story

Attendees at the 2025 Bright Lights community outreach event in Manvel, Texas, have been marveling at a spectacular drone show depicting the Nativity story hundreds of feet in the sky.

The Church on Masters Road, a non-denominational church in Manvel, TX, recently concluded its three-day Bright Lights event. Free and open to the public, the family-friendly outreach featured:

  • a snow hill
  • live music
  • bonfires
  • free food and hot chocolate
  • a petting zoo
  • inflatable games
  • a heartfelt car giveaway (two reliable used vehicles per night, awarded to individuals and families experiencing hardships who applied in advance)

The highlight of each evening was a 15-minute drone show involving 1,000 drones that reenacted the story of Jesus from birth to death, complete with a voiceover narration explaining the events and sharing the Gospel message.
