Megachurch pastor Preaches Sermon In $6000 Lazy Boy

‘Transformation Church’ pastor Mike Todd continues to employ wild and clearly by-design memorable illustrations during his Sunday morning services, this time preaching a portion of his sermon in a $6000 chair.

We last wrote about Transformation Church after they hosted a celebration of life for the late pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, hell-denying, Trinity-denying, Universalist, Unitarian Bishop Carlton Pearson, where lead pastor Michael Todd praised him as a “man of God” who faithfully lived out the gospel message. Then we watched Todd display his contempt for the scriptures by trashing the stage and pouring syrup and whipped cream all over a bible, preaching in some weirdly feminine attire, and later giving a strange and strained sermon illustration, preaching nearly his entire message in tight pink pants while his barber gave him a haircut and shaves on stage.

For his Living For Christ In A Lazy Boy sermon, Todd insists that “most believers right now are not in right STANDING with God; they’re in ‘right SITTING’ with him,” depicted by a large church of his sermon being preached in the Osaki Champ II Massage chair prop, which retails for $6000, but can be presently owned for a mere $3999 on sale.
