During a recent Biologos event, prominent apologist N.T. Wright and acclaimed scientist and former head of the NIH Dr. Francis Collins surprised folks with a musical number, singing that the Earth is 14 billion years old and that the events in early Genesis were products of evolution.
We previously covered Wright after he suggested that abortion may be a tragic yet best allowable option in cases of rape, incest, or for the mental health of the mother, and that belief in the bodily resurrection of Christ is not necessary to be a Christian.
We likewise covered Collins after he argued that in-person public schooling was a higher priority than in-person church, openly supported doing experiments on fetal tissue on account that he doesn’t believe human embryos to be life but only ‘potential life,” argued that scientists should use bodies of aborted babies for scientific experimentation, refused to condemn “pregnant people” language, and publicly revealed himself to be thoroughly compromised on the Christian’s view of LGBTQ issues.
Notably, Collins believes humans evolved from groups of thousands of primates that existed 100,000 years ago, specifically saying the concepts of Adam and Eve as the literal first couple and the ancestors of all humans ‘do not fit the evidence.’
Similarly, Wright believes Adam and Eve were likely ‘human-like creatures’ and ‘proto-humans’ that lived up to 650,000 years ago, saying on his podcast:
“It seems to me perfectly reasonable to suppose that God would say to one pair of proto-hominids, whatever we’re to call them,’ come with me. I’ve got a special purpose for you…So that it seems to me is a way of saying that if there were an original Adam and Eve, that would be what it was all about.”
The song, which was written by N.T Wright in 2013 and sung to the tune of The Beatles’ Yesterday, plays:
Genesis
Earth and heaven in a cosmic kiss
Evolution must have been like this
Oh, I, believe in Genesis
DNA
Shaping creatures from the dust and clay
Double helix in the Milky Way
Oh Genesis meant DNA
How He made it all 14 billion years ago
Wisdom, grace and love
For he spoke and it was so
Genesis
Even Adam in a world of bliss
In the paradise we all now miss
Oh, I believe in Genesis
In a trice
Didn’t listen to divine advice
Einstein wondered whether God plays dice
We’re trapped within a world of vice
Why they had to fall I don’t know
it doesn’t say
they did something wrong
And we long for God’s new day
Genesis
Royal Priesthood in a holy bliss
New Jerusalem will be like this
Oh I believe in Genesis

10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.
11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
Wright and Collins suggest God made DNA fourteen billion years ago, but even people who openly reject Christ’s teachings rarely suggest stable double-helix DNA could have existed more than five billion years ago.
Collins is directly responsible for the death of millions, both through funding of gain-of-function and through pushing the fake “vaccine”. He should be in the blasted grave. Instead, with no semblance of any conscience at all, he slaps the face of all who were severely injured and lost loved ones because of his incompetence and outright sins. If he were truly born again, having a conscience informed and directed by the Holy Spirit, he never would’ve come anywhere close to doing what he did. And that is a fact. He is a satan-serving impostor, fake, and fraud. It is disgusting beyond words.

Thank you for introducing me to Francis Collins. I knew about Wright, but this is the first time I think I’ve read about Collins. He seems like a devout Christian, and I’m happy he’s with us
This isn’t recent; it appeared in this video from almost five years ago of various Big Eva characters singing the praises of Francis Collins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPOx3a4UO40
This song reminds me of the poetry my 11 year old writes about fairies, butterflies, and sunsets, except it’s way worse.
Collins and Wright are wrong……. I honestly don’t see how they can be born again with what the say and do….
