Days after beating up his neighbor’s son in a now-viral video, pastor Tony Spell is in the news again, this time for another encounter involving the same people.
Spell, the pastor of Life Tabernacle Church in Central, (a Oneness Pentecostal church that believes in sinless perfectionism and that speaking in tongues is the evidence of salvation) was arrested last week after fighting with his neighbor’s son, whom Spell accused of threatening to rape and kill his family.
Days later, ERSO deputies were called to the property in the early hours of the morning, after his neighbor, Scott Scherin, called the police on Spell, complaining that he was violating noise ordinances by cutting his grass at 4:00 in the morning.
Scherin, who insisted that he had a protective order against Spell, told officers who arrived on the scene:
“He’s doing this to intimidate my victim son. Do you cut your grass at 4 in the morning?”
Police went across the street to investigate Spell, who dismissed the concerns while motioning to some teenagers alongside him.
“Beating the heat. There’s no law against that. He’s just sore because I beat the crap out of his faggot boy. And he’s next if he comes over here and harasses these boys.”
"He’s just sore because I beat the crap out of his fa**** boy.
