Rev. Jackson Lahmeyer is the senior pastor of Sheridan Church in Oklahoma who gained gained national prominence on three different occasions:
1. When he offered “religious exemptions” to the COVID vaccine to anyone who became an online member of his church, paying a small fee.
2. When, he gained the endorsement of Donald Trump to become the Republican candidate for Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District.
3. After he was exposed for having an extramarital affair, lost Trump’s endorsement and dropped out of the race in shame.
Last week, The Daily Mail obtained text messages between Lahmeyer, who is 34 and has five young children, (family seen below) and former pageant queen Caitlin Simmons Key (next image.)

In the messages, Lahmeyer is seen inviting her to his hotel room, discussing going to a strip club, being offered cocaine at 1 a.m. (which he declined) and flirting with her.

The Oklahoman gives further details:
In another thread, Key hinted at Lahmeyer’s marital status.
“And at some point – if u need to get divorced. Then ok,” she said.
“Not right now tho lol,” Lahmeyer replied.
“No one’s asking, but again I’ve been down this road. I don’t want you to hate me. U r in love with me and we don’t even have sex,” Key said.
Ultimately his wife, pastor Kendra, discovered the affair, leading her to write to Key:
‘You are a home wrecking whore. Did you enjoy ruining our family?’ He has 5 kids.’ How dare you.

Notably, Lahmeyer’s church is hosting a large conservative event at his church this weekend, and it’s unclear to what effect it will have.

In a statement, Lahmeyer said
After prayerful consideration with my wife, Kendra, and my team over the last twenty four hours, I’ve made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign for Congress. I do not want to be a distraction to my family, my church, and the great people of Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District, who deserve a strong conservative voice representing them in Washington.”
