Stephen Colbert Gets Heretical About Heaven: ‘we become Febreze’

Prominent Roman Catholic talk show host Stephen Colbert continues to demonstrate why he’s a walking mess of heresy and progressivism, this time while explicating his understanding of the afterlife.

Colbert is a pro-abortion, pro-LGBTQ progressive whom the late Tim Keller once described as a believer who shows the world a “brilliant example of how to be a Christian in the public square” and who has been a ‘witness’ for his faith in a “form the culture can handle.”

We last wrote about him after he praised queer actress Cynthia Erivo’s upcoming portrayal of Jesus in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar, calling it “long overdue” and gushing over the idea that a woman was playing the part.

During a recent interview, he was asked what happens when we die, and rather than offer an orthodox understanding of heaven, Colbert gets real weird with it,

“I think there is some continuance of some kind. But it’s like a dispersion of the self into some other greater being.

And I don’t have any other feelings beyond that.”
