Joni Lamb, president and co-founder of Daystar Television Network, has died at 65, according to an announcement on the network’s social media page.
Describing her cause of death, Daystar shares:
Prior to her recent back injury, Lamb had been dealing with serious health matters that she chose to face head on and in private.
The back injury compounded those challenges and led to a more serious medical situation than anyone had anticipated. Despite the dedicated efforts of her medical team and the prayers of so many around the world, her condition worsened in the last few days.

Joni Lamb has three adult children. Her first husband, Marcus Lamb, passed away in 2021 from Covid. She is survived by her second husband, Doug Weiss.
Of her passing, Daystar Board of Directors said “Joni’s love for the Lord and for the people we serve shaped this ministry from the beginning. We grieve her loss, and we are grateful for the legacy of faith she leaves behind.”
Notably, for nearly four decades Daystar Network platformed the who’s who of prosperity heretics and false teachers, including Jesse DuPlantis, Sid Roth, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Jim Bakker, Marcus Lamb, Bill Winston, Perry Stone, Joel Osteen, Joseph Prince, TD Jakes, Andrew Womack, and Paula White.

condolences to her loved ones.
Undoubtedly fully vaxxed and boosted…
I am NOT making fun of the death of this good woman, but I have to ask why her husband didn’t just heal her? Honest question: How do Christians within that movement deal with and react to deaths like hers?
