Pastor Tradanius Beard is the founding Senior Minister of the Northwest Church of Christ in Southaven, MS. This past Easter Sunday, the church had rapper NLE Choppa as the guest speaker.
Here, he “preached” a message to the children and then took pictures with them, much to their screaming excitement.
But who is NLE Choppa? He is a popular artist with more than 10 million followers on social media and more than 15 billion streams.
He’s also a perverted, foul-mouthed pagan who routinely releases some of the most disgusting songs ever written under the genre of “dirty rap,” including his 2023 track “Slut Me Out.”

He has three sequels to “Slut Me Out,” including one released just a few months ago which is even more filthy than the last. His personal life is also a mess , having multiple children with multiple women and is currently living with his fiancée.
Yet this is who the church brought in to speak to the children on Easter?
Pathetic.

Just goes to show that the sin of partiality is not exclusive to any particular ethnicity, nation, tribe, tongue, or skin color, but is inherent from Adam.
It is also indicative of how cultish churches have become these days, so much so that they will embrace just about any and all wickedness imaginable of those in their group (the log in the eye of their group). But those outside their group will be nitpicked to no end, even over things that aren’t sinful (the spec in the eye of everyone else). They do not put the Lord first. He is way down the list, behind themselves and their group. And when love of the Lord is bypassed, this is what happens. It becomes impossible to love others, even inside the group. Every girl and young woman in that building was implicitly told that she is not loved. It becomes a tight-knit group that wants love, but doesn’t have love. And the more it seeks it, the tighter it huddles together, thinking that is the answer, but it only compounds the problem. At the root of the sin of partiality is a deeper corruption of the heart, inherent from Adam. A love of pleasure and comport rather than the Lord (2 Tim. 3). When the answer is to put the Lord first, because that is how we know we love the children of God (1 John 5:2).
Please remove the lyrics. Even with the asterisks, because most readers can fill in the blanks (or asterisk) or their minds, when helped along by evil spirits very willing to do the work, will simply create something similarly lascivious. It is no different from posting an obscene graphic image with merely the most objectionable parts blurred out but still leaving more than enough for the viewer to interpret the image and mentally fill in the blurred parts.
It isn’t as if you need to prove that secular artists are pushing filth in the first place. They have been since the beginning. Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock was a tribute to Sodom and Gomorrah made way back in the 1950s plus the song makes it absolutely clear what “rock-n-roll” has ALWAYS been a euphemism for. Everyone makes fun of the fundamentalist preachers from the 1950s but they were 100% right and discrediting said preachers, which sadly a lot of evangelicals participated to make themselves more popular with the mainstream at their expense, was part of Satan’s plan. Also, it would have been sufficient to simply report on this rapper’s lifestyle – which by itself makes him inappropriate to appear in a church for any reason other than as a penitent seeking conversion – and say that his lyrics reflect it. The most horrible thing is that it appears that the children in this church are very familiar with this rapper and his songs. It means that the pastor is not teaching, exhorting or modeling for his congregation the Biblical mandate to separate from this.
