Tim Keller Enters Hospice Care: ‘He Has Little Time Left’

Renown Pastor Tim Keller has left the hospital where he was being treated for complications from pancreatic cancer and is receiving hospice care at home, according to his son who posted the update on social media.

Sharing that “He has expressed many times through prayer his desire to go home to be with Jesus. His family is very sad because we all wanted more time, but we know he has very little at this point.”

Keller was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2020, which turned to stage IV in 2021. The five-year survival rate is 1%, with most patients expected to live less than a year- usually around six months, but so far Keller has managed two and a half years.

Please continue to pray for his miraculous healing.

  1. Will protestia wait at least 1 day after he passes before they start criticizing him? That is usually thier modus operandi.

  2. Keller is heading to a glorious eternity – I pray he quickly enters painlessly into the presence of The King.

  3. Maybe we should have been praying for his salvation as well. How much error is too much to doubt someone’s profession, even in ministry? Look how many people Billy Graham fooled.

Not saying any of us has perfect theology or needs to, but you gotta get the basics right, because if you’re indwelt by the Holy Spirit, how else can it be?

Frankly, I can’t understand why the spirit would have allowed Keller to deviate into the social gospel so much to override the true one over the last few years.

  4. I didn’t pray for his miraculous healing. He led thousands to hell. God has removed him, thankfully.
