Church Encourages Children to bring 5$ Bills to ‘Tip’ Drag Queens Following Sunday Drag Performance
A church in Alberta is encouraging children to bring with them a 5$ bill to church, so they can tip the drag queens who will be reading to them in a drag queen story hour directly following the service.
Led by Re.v Trish Schmermund, the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC)- basically the Canadian version of the ELCA. It has long been regarded as one of the most progressive in the country. According to the church website:

Fun fact. As a personal note, this writer attended there for a month or so, almost 20 years ago, as a newer believer. After they announced a same-sex wedding occurring in the church later that weekend I ghosted them

What sort of church affirms sin and condemns righteousness? Considering the name of their church, do they know there’s a reason the Holy Spirit is called HOLY?
Jesus said, in John 16:1-11:
“These things I have spoken to you so that you will not be led into sin. 2 They will ban you from the synagogue, yet an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering a service to God. 3 These things they will do because they have not known the Father nor Me. 4 But these things I have spoken to you, so that when their hour comes, you may remember that I told you of them. However, I did not say these things to you at the beginning, because I was with you.
5 “But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, grief has filled your heart. 7 But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment: 9 regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and regarding righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me; 11 and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.”
If conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgement are not present, then neither is the Holy Spirit.
But doesn’t verse 2 hit home. Those who believe and honor God’s Word are banned from the building, while those who don’t are standing behind the pulpit and sitting in the front row, believing they are doing God’s work. And verse 1 – how easily one can be led to sin in the name of “love” and compassion – by a false gospel where there is neither sin, nor righteousness, nor judgement. Jesus warned of this.

God will not be mocked by evil individuals attempting to draw little ones into sexual perversity. Obviously, these feckless, stupid people have absolutely no fear of The Lord.
The leadership is certainly to blame, but so are all of those who continue to attend, support, and take their kids to this abomination.
