Greg Locke Says that Christians Need to Rule America and ‘Take it By Force’ if Need Be

Greg Locke, pastor of Global Vision Bible Church is well known for his massive social media following and politically incorrect social media rants about politics and religion.

Readers of Protestia will recognize him as the foul-mouthed, spouse-abusing, small-time Tennessee pastor who notoriously divorced his wife of two decades and quickly married his secretary, claimed that “Mitch McConnell is being controlled by Illuminati hand signals,” threatened a Dunkin’ Donuts worker with kicking his teeth down his throat, and recently prophecied a massive false flag shooting was about to take place in America.

Now, during his Sunday Sermon, he urged his congregants to get busy.

You’re in charge. I’m telling you. What God’s looking for is people under this tent, people online, that he wants to put in charge of some stuff. There is no reason the church of the living God and the kingdom of Jesus Christ should not rule this nation. The Bible says that the ‘kingdom of God suffereth violence’ and those that truly follow Jesus Christ take it by force!

This is a reference to Matthew 11:11-13, which states.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

Though there are a few ways to interpret this notoriously tricky verse, Locke’s interpretation of turning the biblical “kingdom of God” into “America 2021 that ought to be ruled by force” would not be one of them.

  1. >“Mitch McConnell is being controlled by Illuminati hand signals,”

I thought this was common knowledge.

  2. At risk of sounding cynical, how exactly would this not be better than what’s happening now?

  3. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice” Proverbs 29:2

Although that pastor is a basket case / fraud, I do believe the Lord’s people will ascend to power in a major western nation (probably the USA) when the Lord’s public witness receives the spirit of life from God, as foretold in Revelation 11. Other nations will follow thereafter as the golden age of the Kingdom takes off.
