Say What? United Methodists Condemn Efforts to Vaccinate Conservative Members For This Wild Reason

The last fifty years have not been kind to the United Methodists of the United States. The denomination’s U.S. membership peaked in 1970, and continued to steadily decline over the past 50 years as its leadership dove down the slippery slope of “modernism”. United Methodist Liberals, who followed the tenants of modernism, jettisoned the plain meaning of the Biblical text for carnal interpretations that began with the motive of reaching a compromise with the world on the meaning of scripture and the definition of sin. The majority of U.S. UMC church leaders now deny the basic tenants of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, the inerrancy of scripture, and the sufficiency of scripture.

They co-opt the term ‘gospel’, gutting it of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus for the atonement of sin. The rotting corpse of a theology that today’s Methodists call “Gospel” is a shell of the person Jesus, who has been stripped of his deity, stuffed with every form of unscriptural leftist social justice propaganda, and propped up as a type of effeminate Mr. Rogers who wants you to “love your neighbor”, but could care less about whether or not you love God or keep his commandments.

“Open hearts, open minds, open doors” has led people to follow their desperately wicked hearts, opened the minds of parishioners to follow teachings that are clearly contrary to scripture, and opened the doors of church membership and leadership to those who are unrepentantly wicked, including sodomites and those who oppose the basic tenants of Christian faith. The result of this shift has been an enormous shipwreck of faith, as members fall into confusion and apostasy.

Even as the United Methodists prepare to split into two separate denominations (one full blown social-Marxist and the other social-Marxist lite, with a disagreement over the acceptance of sodomite clergy and sodomite mirage), United Methodists have a Gospel of hope that they would like to share with their congregations and the world. Has the UMC returned to its first love and resolved to spread the Gospel of Jesus that was taught by John Wesley? Guess again.

The United Methodist Church wants to share the hope that they have in the COVID Vaccine and invite you to ask jab into your arm. They don’t believe in security of the vaccinated, so you will probably have to ask jab into your arm an indefinite number of times, and work out your immunity with fear and trembling. Nevertheless, even as the rest of the world is moving away from vaccine mandates and COVID prevention protocols, the leadership of the UMC advocates for vaccine evangelism, creating a handbook to, “help congregations reach out to the unvaccinated” in their communities.

As UMC denominational delegates prepare to meet for the 2022 General Conference in Minneapolis, MN, a meeting that will determine the speed and course of the denominational split, the moderate Wesleyan Covenant Association announced plans to raise funds for international delegates from Africa, Eurasia, and the Philippines to travel and receive COVID Vaccination, a requirement in order to travel and attend the conference. The delegates at the conference include delegates from the United States (56% of total delegates), which are predominantly liberal, and delegates from Africa and Asia (38% of total delegates); who tend to be poor, more conservative, and adhere to Biblical sexuality. In a script that only makes sense in the clown world of 2022, the council of bishops of the UMC condemned the Wesleyan Covenant Association’s plans to help delegates from the third world as a plan that “bears all the marks of colonialism.”

“Offering vaccines to General Conference delegates or covering the cost of delegates to travel to places where they can be vaccinated is not an expression of vaccine equity. Rather, it appears as an attempt to benefit those who the donor wishes to fulfill a certain purpose.”

Ironically, the incoherent leftist quest for vaccine evangelism has collided with the incoherent leftist quest for “vaccine equity”; as if any of the double masking, social distancing, zoom meeting drivel made any sense in the first place. In a quest to delay and derail the denominational split, a splinter of the far left contingent has proposed that the General Conference should be delayed until 2024, to ensure the complete safety of the meeting and its attendees. COVID Forever!

If your grandparents still attend a leftist United Methodist Church, please inform them that the church rainbow mural isn’t a celebration of the Noahic Covenant, the butch lesbian or tranny at the front of the congregation isn’t a man or a pastor, and the Gospel that is preached isn’t good news or anything close to the Gospel of Jesus. Find a Bible-believing church, leave, and don’t turn back; lest you turn into a pillar of salt.

The Reasons the New Ultra-Progressive Methodist Demonomination is Failing are Hilarious

We are a people of faith committed to living into and out of the wisdom and compassion of the historical Jesus – a brown man of undetermined sexual orientation who arose from a people bowed down under Empire. His prophetic witness calls us to a risky engagement with powers and principalities and compels us to overturn tables of systemic oppression….In our quest for justice, we consciously avoid theological litmus tests and external creeds. We are a people led by God’s Spirit in a way that welcomes a dynamic evolution of our beliefs, our practices, and our systems….Our vision is founded on the prophetic leadership and active participation of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual + (LGBTQIA+) people, and people with disabilities. These collectives live at the intersection of direct social action and theological reflection. (LMX Statement of Values, Vision and Mission)

Two years ago, the super progressives within the United Methodist Church were upset that their hellbound denomination wasn’t liberal enough. Consequently, many of the pagans within the UMC that were given the freedom to let their leaven fizz and ferment for decades announced the creation of their own denomination, called The Liberation Methodist Connexion (LMX), which went live in late 2020/ early 2021.

Since then, the last year has not been kind to them, already suffering massive defections, going from 40 churches to just 20. In a post on their website recapping the year, they recount their few victories:

“Since (we’ve launched), the LMX has put together several online events that have given many people a glimpse of a what a liberative spiritual experience could look like, combining the message that what we are all beloved children of God with tough conversations on how our churches enable racism, homophobia, misogyny, ableism, and other forms of oppression”

We have had two roundtables; one a conversation on race and how we can work towards eliminating racism, the other a conversation around queering Easter and how the resurrection story speaks to resisting oppression.

and now the bad news:

“Immediately after the launch, the LMX attempted to handle unexpected, complex challenges in ways that distracted from our primary purpose for weeks, exhausting us and leading to some internal distrust.”

“Since February, some working group meetings struggled with attendance as common ground in conversations on foundational documents was not reached. No new collaborators were introduced, seemingly due to a lack of agreement about how to best integrate new people. Other sticky points for us have been concerns about whether our BIPOC collaborators are being treated well, whether we are prioritizing dismantling white culture in the LMX over creating space for queer people, whether the LMX should be a traditional Christian denomination or other,

As we stepped back and took a wider view of where we were having the most trouble, one unforeseen issue is that we were mostly unprepared for what it looks like practically to build something new; particularly as a volunteer group without the resources of our old denominations. Common ground was easier to find when we were focused on critiquing old institutions. It has been much harder to find as we all bring ideas about what can be. We realized that we made many assumptions about the goals of our fellow collaborators.

Hahahahahahaha. You mean a bunch of woke pagans with Christian ideations can’t agree on how badly they hate the bible and the correct way to butcher it, resulting in no money and no people?

Bravo.

Alabama Pastrixes Dress up As ‘Handmaids’ to Protest Texas Anti-abortion Law

Pastrixes (because there’s no such thing as a woman pastor) Stephanie Arnold and Katie Gilbert of the First United Methodist Chruch in Birmingham, Alabama created and released a TikTok video showing themselves dressed up as handmaids from the ‘Handmaids Tale’ in order to protest Texas heartbeat bill that bans most abortions after 6 weeks.

With the overlay reading “Texas is leading us to become more and more like Gilead every day. Unjust, patriarchal laws strip women of their agency and rights. As people of faith we believe in reproductive justice. We won’t take this anymore.’ the video short featuring them throwing off their repressive robes and then urging viewers to sign a petition form Planned Parenthood which is linked in their bio.

@firstchurchbirmingham Women are people too. #churchtok #progressivechristian #smashthepatriarchy #umcsocialprinciples #foryou #fyp #texas ♬ Promenade of Stolen Children – Adam Taylor

Speaking to CBS42, Arnold, who is the senior pastrix, told them in an interview:

“I would hope nobody would ever find themselves in need of an abortion. But that is not the world we live in. And I will listen to the pain and the struggle and the hopes of those women. And I will prioritize that.”

Given that the United Methodist Church is a thoroughly apostate denomination that is God’s judgment upon their lake-of-fire bound congregants (Editor’s note: funny, we always get flak when we say that) this should surprise no one.

United Methodist Church Conservatives Forming New Denomination Amid Schism

The conservatives within the United Methodist Church (UMC) have had enough of their denomination’s progressive views of homosexuality and acceptance of other deviant sexual theology, announcing the formation of a new denomination set to go live in 2022.

Called the “Global Methodist Church,” its reveal was announced by the Transitional Leadership Council, a 17-member team of theologically conservative Methodists. They explain that:

The new church will officially come into existence when a United Methodist General Conference adopts the implementing legislation for the Protocol for Reconciliation and Grace through Separation.

Alternatively, if it becomes apparent that the leading bishops, centrists, and progressives who covenanted to support the Protocol no longer do so, then the council will consider bringing the new church into existence without delay. Local United Methodist churches, annual conferences, and central conferences will then be able to join the new denomination.

In short, they’re going to try to do it the amicable way, through the official channels, but if the liberals try to make things hard, then they’ll cut their ties then and there. The conservatives planned to split in 2020 and then again 2021, but their conferences were canceled both years due to the threat of COVID-19. The new general conference is set for September 2022.

While the main reason for splitting is the long-fought war within the UMC over homosexuality and the UMC’s acceptance of it, it’s of note that the conservatives within the UMC aren’t particularly conservative either. For years the UMC has supported a woman’s right to choose abortion as an option to be considered. In fact, for over 40 years their Book of Resolutions affirmed the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. They support strict gun control, and even guns being banned altogether. They allow women leadership into the highest level of leadership, condemn capital punishment, and condemn creationism.

With the formation of the new denomination by the conservatives, however, many of the pagans within the UMC that have been given the freedom to let their leaven fizz and ferment for decades have announced the created their own denomination, called The Liberation Methodist Connexion (LMX).

These ragtag reprobates which are headed to hell in a handbasket unless they repent and are saved by a sovereign God, explain on their website:

We are journeying toward a new way of being followers of Christ that refute the imbalance of powers, principalities, and privileges that has plagued Methodism: colonialism, white supremacy, economic injustices, patriarchy, sexism, clericalism, ableism, ageism, transphobia, and heteronormativity. We trust God’s presence and our collaborative labors will guide us toward a new, more liberative way of answering our calling and being in connexion together…

LMX theology is not written in stone because our human understanding continues to evolve as we deepen our personal and collective understandings of God. We have been expanding our methodist theological heritage with various expressions of Liberation theologies, theories, and praxis.  [Editor’s note: Literally woke as hell.]
