‘Bling Bishop’ Who was Robbed During Church Livestream Found GUILTY of Fraud, Extortion

The prosperity preacher who was robbed at gunpoint during a live-streamed service and relieved of reported $400,000 in watches, rings, and chains had been found guilty of “two counts of wire fraud, one count of attempted wire fraud, one count of attempted extortion, and one count of making false statements to federal law enforcement agents,” according to a press release by the Southern District of New York’s Attorney’s Office. 

Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead founded Brooklyn-based Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries, a false church if ever there was one. His ministry was registered as a for-profit business in 2014, and the church denies the Trinity. His website’s statement of faith reads, “There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” I.e., the dude is a rank heretic, and everything about his pastorate and church is decrepit and false.

We last wrote about him after Blinged-Up Prosperity Preacher Robbed of $1M+ in Jewelry During Church Live Stream, after he showed off his “Prayer Closet’ Full of Designer Clothes, Shoes, Diamonds and when he grabbed a  Female Congregant and Shoved Her Off Pulpit After Interrupting Him.

His guilty conviction does not stem from his being robbed at gunpoint but rather a series of frauds he perpetrated to further this lavish lifestyle and stock his “prayer closet.” The release notes:

First, WHITEHEAD induced one of his parishioners to invest approximately $90,000 of her retirement savings with him by promising to use the money to help her buy a home.  He then spent the money on luxury goods and other personal expenses and, when she demanded to be paid back, he continued to lie to avoid returning the money.  

Second, WHITEHEAD extorted a businessman for $5,000, then attempted to convince the same businessman to lend him $500,000 and give him a stake in certain real estate transactions in return for favorable actions from the Mayor of New York City, even though WHITEHEAD knew he could not obtain the favors he promised. 

Third, WHITEHEAD submitted a fraudulent application for a $250,000 business loan, including doctored bank statements that falsely claimed WHITEHEAD had millions of dollars in the bank and hundreds of thousands of dollars in monthly revenue.  

Finally, when speaking with Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) agents who were executing a search warrant outside WHITEHEAD’s mansion in New Jersey, WHITEHEAD falsely claimed that he had no cellphones other than the phone he was carrying when, in fact, WHITEHEAD had and regularly used a second cellphone, which was inside his house at the time.

The first three counts carry a maximum of twenty years in prison, and the latter a maximum of five.

Joyce Meyer Says Christians Should Never Feel Guilt for Sinning

80-year-old Joyce Meyer is not slowing down in her mission to teach all the false doctrines, recently insisting to her millions of followers that they should never never guilty for sinning.

Meyers is long thought to be one of the ‘Big three’ heretics, along with Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn. Popular with women and effeminate men, the famed multi-millionaire televangelist’s ministry brings in over $100 million yearly and is known for her word-faith teachings. We tagged her recently after it was revealed she was paid by Hillsong $150,000 for one sermon, and has a long history of collecting sky-high honorariums.

She has a bizarre view of the atonement where Jesus paid for our sins in hell, believes that Jesus stopped being the Son of God for a time, that Jesus had to be born-again, that Jesus went to hell in our place and was tormented, that if you don’t believe Jesus went to hell you cannot be saved, and that the scripture teaches that we are little gods. This is all while claiming that she routinely receives revelation from God and the angels, one of which is likely this teaching

Speaking last December at Christ Fellowship Church, Meyers confuses guilt and condemnation, ascribing the role of the Holy Spirit to Satan by teaching:

Let me tell you something else that you never have to do again: after you sin you never have to feel guilty. Yep, you reacted about like the second service did. Can you find one place in the Bible where it tells you to feel guilty? Satan is the Accuser of the Brethren and even after you sin and you’ve repented and you’ve been forgiven, he’ll come back around and try to accuse you.

And it took me a long time, a long time to get over guilt. It was like this vague presence that was with me all the time. Not like right in my face, but this vague feeling something’s wrong with me. Does anybody in here have any idea what I’m feeling, what I’m talking about?

And when I would feel guilty I would say out loud “I feel guilty but I’m not guilty because the word of God says I’m forgiven and the sin and the guilt are removed.” And then I’d still feel guilty and I’d say “I feel guilty but I’m not guilty because the word of God says that my sins have been forgiven and all the guilt has been removed.”

I’m not guilty, I don’t care how you make me feel devil, I am not guilty, I am forgiven. And you know what? When I did it enough times I started to believe it. And see when you believe it- we have a lot of information but what we need is revelation. And I want what’s in your head today to fall down in your spirit. I want you to get it. If you’ve asked God to forgive your sins and you meant it. You are not guilty. I pronounce you not guilty.

Russell Moore Makes Derek Chauvin’s Guilty Verdict About Race

Russell Moore, the head of the Ethics and Religious and Liberty Commission (ERLC) who recently took a personal hit when he was torched by the SBC’s Executive Committee for the way he runs his organization, summarized by the phrase, “The direction of the ERLC is a significant source of division and creates a very real challenge to reversing CP [Cooperative Program] decline,” continued his trend of sowing discord and division with a tweet about the Derek Chauvin guilty verdict.

Because Moore is a progressive and a Democrat he can’t help but bring race into it, even though the trial itself did not touch on it or make that a factor in the death of George Floyd.

In fact, by all accounts, there was absolutely nothing racist about the entire encounter, which would not stop him from noting in a later post that Floyd is a “symbol of the quest for racial justice in this country,” and that because Chauvin was found guilty, we can “work together for a new era of racial justice.” And yet we ask: what was racial about this justice?

We haven’t forgotten about this statement Moore and the who’s-who of SBC leaders signed back in 2020:

Furthermore, don’t believe Moore will make it a habit of celebrating our judicial system as ERLC head or supporting various jury decisions. He only celebrates certain kinds of decisions. He would never dare being caught speaking on cases like the Michael Brown or George Zimmerman case and declaring that “justice was rendered.”

You think the cowardly Moore, author of the laughably ironic The Courage to Stand would say that justice was rendered if Chauvin’s conviction is overturned on appeal – an act that ought to happen based on his lack of fair trial?

Not a chance.

Breaking! Ravi Zacharias Ministries Confirms Late Apologist ‘Did Indeed Engage in Sexual Misconduct’

Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) has released an interim report on their investigation into sexual misconduct allegations that Protestia (and formerly Pulpit & Pen) have been on the forefront of covering for years, confirming that the world-renowned late apologist did indeed engage in sexual misconduct.

Ravi had been accused by several massage therapists of indecent sexual contact during sessions, including touching them inappropriately, exposing himself, asking them to give him “happy endings,” masturbating during sessions, asking for nude pictures, and propositioning them for sex.

The report was released by Martin and Miller, the investigative firm tasked by RZIM to get to the bottom of these allegations. They report they were given wide discretion and interviewed dozens of witnesses, including “many massage therapists” who treated Zacharias at Touch of Eden and Jivan spa. They also “reviewed numerous documents and electronic devices used by Mr. Zacharias over the years.”

Though specifically tasked with investigating the allegations stemming from the spas that Ravi owned, it seems they went a little further, writing “we were given broad discretion and authority to follow leads into other sexual misconduct that might arise, and that is exactly what we have done.”

Their findings? Guilty as sin.

While some of the massage therapists we have tried to interview are not willing to share their experiences with us, many have spoken candidly and with great detail. Combining those interviews with our review of documents and electronic data, we have found significant, credible evidence that Mr. Zacharias engaged in sexual misconduct over the course of many years. Some of that misconduct is consistent with and corroborative of that which is reported in the news recently, and some of the conduct we have uncovered is more serious. Our investigation is ongoing, and we continue to pursue leads.

The firm notes that that the full report will be released to RZIM board of directors in early 2021, and the board has apparently pledged to release it publicly. The full text can be read below.

RZIM has released a statement in response to the findings, writing in part:

However, while the investigation remains ongoing and is not expected to be completed until January or February, yesterday we received a brief interim update on the investigation we felt we needed to share (attached). Sadly, the interim investigation update indicates this assessment of Ravi’s behavior to be true—that he did indeed engage in sexual misconduct.

This misconduct is deeply troubling and wholly inconsistent with the man Ravi Zacharias presented both publicly and privately to so many over more than four decades of public ministry. We are heartbroken at learning this but feel it necessary to be transparent and to inform our staff, donors, and supporters at this time, even while the investigation continues. We will speak more comprehensively to all concerned after the completion of the investigation.

We are devastated for those who have suffered from Ravi’s misconduct and for the pain that they are enduring. They have asked for confidentiality and anonymity, and both we and the investigators are committed to honoring their wishes.

We await news of the full report, given that there are many unanswered questions, with Ravi’s guilt being a foregone conclusion for years and being the least of these.

Rather, the issue is with the RZIM board and with the way they’ve handled everything over the years, particularly with dismissing concerns and putting out false information when clearly something was seriously amiss.

In fact, when we first reported on the newest round of allegations and broke that story, with the information provided by use by the tireless advocate Steve Baughman, RZIM told us that it would be “virtually impossible to investigate” and then only changed their tune when the story got too big to ignore.

There is also the matter of Lori Anne Thompson. We are confident that she will be completely vindicated, but what manner of obstruction and obfuscations has the board been indulging in for years that has made it possible for her story to have been ignored, covered and buried?

Ravi threatened to kill himself if his interaction with her went public, and the result of that was letting Ravi put out a statement in Christianity Today filled with lies that victim-blamed her and exonerated him, declaring himself wholly innocent of whatever it was that led him to off himself if it ever got out.

We can only hope the investigation addresses RZIM’s complicity in the cover-up because it’s pretty obvious they’ve had their hands all over it.

Episcopal Church declares Bishop to be ‘Apostate’ Because He WON’T perform Gay Weddings

The morally and theologically bankrupt Episcopal Church, long given over to Satan and all his minions and which likely boasts less than 1% believers within their ranks, further cemented their reputation as an enemy of God with a “guilty” ruling against the last clerical holdout who had been contesting the Church’s position on the acceptance of gay marriage.

The Episcopal Church of North America concluded a disciplinary hearing last week and unanimously determined that William Love, the Bishop who presides over the diocese of Albany, violated canon law after he wrote a letter to the churches in his diocese prohibiting them from performing same-sex weddings.

Bishop Love, who by all accounts has been fighting the good fight within the Episcopal church and is one of the last faithful men standing, was savaged by the disciplinary hearing because he refused to comply with Resolution B012. The Resolution, passed in 2018, requires any priests unwilling to perform gay marriages to get another priest willing to preside over that blasphemy to do so in his place.

Love issued a now-widely circulated letter in 2018 which called out the resolution for the monstrous perversion it is, writing that:

The Episcopal Church and Western Society have been hijacked by the “Gay Rights Agenda” which is very well organized, very strategic, very well financed, and very powerful. Satan is having a heyday bringing division into the Church over these issues and is trying to use the Church to hurt and destroy the very ones we love and care about by deceiving the leadership of the Church into creating ways for our gay and lesbians brothers and sisters to embrace their sexual desires rather than to repent and seek God’s love and healing grace. B012 plays right into this…

It is in direct conflict and contradiction to God’s intent for the sacrament of marriage as revealed through Holy Scripture.

B012 ignores God’s Word regarding marriage and thus ignores the authority of Holy Scripture. When asked about marriage and divorce, Jesus stated, ‘But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’

As a result of losing the hearing, he has opted not to appeal, believing it would have no good result or impact. Love will learn of his fate in a few weeks, with the consensus that he will be defrocked and excommunicated from the Church, and thus removing the last faithful Bishop from their midst.

In recent years, Episcopal congregations who could not abide by the apostasy of their denomination created and fled to the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA), which holds to the biblical view of marriage. Despite their faithful belief on the issue of same-sex marriage and morality, however, the ACNA still have several problematic beliefs, such as the acceptance of the ordination of women.
