Prominent Charismatic Prophet Says He Received Beni Johnson’s Legacy After She Died+ Wild Dream/Vision

New Apostolic Reformation leader and pastor of Rock Church in Pasadena, Lou Engel, has publicly declared that the late Beni Johnson, wife to Bethel’s Bill Johnson, passed on her legacy and mantle to him so that he carries on the ‘communion revival’ that she was apparently known for.

Known for his mega-ministry ‘The Call’ and his unnerving constant rocking back and forth all the time- something he does on account of being allegedly so full of the Holy Spirit, Engel reveals that the Lord gave him a vision involving fish, blood, Sacramento and a river. Though difficult to discern on account that the whole thing is made up and insane, ultimately, the jumbled confusing mess to be suggesting, once you sort it all out, that the Lord gave Engle a vision designed to ask Beni Johnson to lay hands on him and pass on her legacy, much like Jacob receiving the birthright from Issac. He explains:

I had a dream, and in the dream, I was asking Bill Johnson. I was asking him: “where can you catch fish on the Sacramento River?” He said, “you can catch fish where the river turns red.” I ran down the Sacramento River turned red. Fishermen were all along the banks catching fish.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve had dreams about (unintelligible) a great coming ‘communion of love and light’. I’ve only heard the blood in these songs. I returned from Israel recently, and I had a dream when I came back , and in the dream I was trying to tell Bill Johnson the dream. I had my headphones on and I couldn’t get the word out, couldn’t remember the dream. I took my headphones off and it was like a spirit of prophecy came over me and I began to tell Bill Johnson the dream…’where do you catch fish along the Sacramento river?

And in the dream, suddenly I began weeping saying ‘it’s the great communion revival’. For two days I couldn’t get up on my own until I called Bill Johnson and said “Bill, can I come to Redding and take communion with you and Beni Johnson?”

You heard about Beni. She passed away (earlier today) I was taking communion earlier this year, 40 days of taking communion. Underneath the table at the house I was staying there was book called the power of communion by Beni Johnson.

Bill said “she’s not well but you can spend 20 minutes with her.” I said “I’ll come for 10 minutes.”

I went and for 20 minutes I spent time with Bill and Beni Johnson and I said “I did not come here didn’t come here primarily, Beni, to pray for your healing, I came to pray for unity, and I read your book.” I said to her;

If you pass, I want you to lay your hands upon me, that I would carry your legacy. She’s been doing communion every day for years. (unintelligible) the river of the sacrament. It’s the river of the sacrament! It’s the revival of the blood where the center will not be a pulpit! It will not be a missions move or evangelism. It will be all (unintelligible)…and the blood will break the accuser of the brethren! It will loose such a sound of revival and awakening as what I’m hearing today.

She laid her hands upon me. I said “if you’ll allow me Lord, I will take Beni Johnson’s legacy, and I will carry the communion revival that I believe she’s been leading for years.”

And why are we here on the very day she died unless there’s an anointing? Halleluia! Halleluia!

Beni Johnson Of Bethel Church Has Died

Beni Johnson, one of the senior leaders of the 12,000-member Bethel Church in Redding, California and wife to Bill Johnson has passed away. She was 67.

Beni had been undergoing chemotherapy, the result of several tumors being revealed by a CT scan inside her body after a season of prolonged illness, and entered hospice care, where she was being prayed for around the clock by congregants. Beni was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017.

Bill Johnson posted this message on Facebook:

During her first diagnosis in 2017, Beni Johnson revealed she had a heavenly encounter with Jesus in the spirit and gained access to “healing power over cancer” and told the congregants to begin grabbing the healing power of cancer “out of heaven” as a means of obtaining healing.

Last year, when Bill revealed the cancer came back, he said they were confident she would be healed, sharing with the church:

We’re not begging for a miracle. It’s already been bought and paid for. The entire Christian life for me is learning what’s in my possession and what’s in my account and how to make withdrawals, and that’s the entire Christian life.

…Guilt and shame is false humility, and it introduces you to an insulation to breakthrough, and so what you want to do is stay away from that…but what we know for sure is that divine health is our portion. We know that no weapon formed against us can prosper. We know that he sent his word that is finely tuned and specifically designed for Benni’s situation.

He sent his word and healed her. We know that by the stripes of Jesus- did you know the stripes of Jesus, the suffering, was not necessary for your redemption? It was necessary for our healing. The death on the cross was necessary for our salvation- the shedding of blood, but not the suffering from a whip. That was for the healing. That was for the deliverance.

Bethel Church’s Bill Johnson Shills ‘Healing School’ Heresy While Wife Dying of Cancer

Beni Johnson is married to one of the most famous faith healers in the world, and yet is dying of cancer. This is an inescapable fact. Diagnosed in 2017, the wife of Bill Johnson had CT scans recently that revealed her body is full of tumors, and a few weeks ago she really took a turn for the worse, prompting the church to set up a 24/7 prayer chain for her. While we pray for her healing, we’ve sadly already written her obituary as her odds of recovery absent a miracle are essentially non-existent.

This is a sobering reality, given that Johnson, who oversees the 10,000 member word/faith Bethel megachurch in Redding, California, regularly claims to heal Stage-4 cancer. He teaches that with enough faith, one can be healed, as healing is a promise that is a part of the gospel, and the church incessantly advertises all the miracles that happen within their congregation

In fact. Bethel pays a staff member, whom they describe as a “church historian” to curate and document thousands of alleged healings in their church, documenting them for posterity.

Last month during a Q&A Johnson explained that “It is always God’s will to heal everyone” and that he never prays “if it be your will to heal”, as that is a prayer for unbelief, given that God has already revealed to Johnson that’s it’s always his will. It’s not a peripheral issue, but rather “is central to the gospel”. He’s previously said, that God never, ever sends sickness to people and that “I refuse to create a theology that allows for sickness”. In a different Q&A, he told the audience when asked if Jesus ever choose not to heal:

“2000 years ago, Jesus made a purchase. He does not decide ‘not to heal people’ today, the decision 2000 years ago was to heal. Either the payment was sufficient for all sin, or no sin. Either the payment was sufficient for all sickness or no sickness.

Healing and forgiveness work in tandem throughout the Scripture. You will find them in the same phrase consistently because it was the basic same payment of headed to the cross, the stripes that he bore, the blood that he shed that dealt with sickness as well as forgiveness.

There’s a third element though thrown in-there’s the word ‘poverty’. In the word ‘evil’ in the Gospel of Matthew, it says ‘deliver us from evil’. The word comes from the word ‘pain’. And the word ‘pain’ actually comes from the root word ‘poor’. So the brushstroke of God’s redemption was to wipe out the root of sin, the root of illness, and the root of poverty. So does he choose not to (heal) ? No, he chose to do it long time ago.

This incongruence between heretical wistful thinking and reality is best seen in a new post by Johnson, who is inviting people to come to a “healing school” where they can pay 165$ to train in both becoming a healer, and also being healed.

The promo material states:

Bethel Healing School is focused on activating a culture of healing and miracles, and stepping into a greater breakthrough in the miraculous. You will be inspired, trained, equipped, and launched into a lifestyle of healing and miracles. This school encompasses much more than just teaching; it’s four days immersed into a culture of joy, freedom, and experiencing all that Jesus paid for. It’s designed to be an intense week full of practical activation, impartation, and miracles, miracles, miracles!

In our sessions, you will grow in the awareness of the anointing you carry. You will explore scriptural truth that deactivates lies we have believed about healing. You’ll also learn new ways to cultivate and maintain an atmosphere conducive to healing in your personal lives, churches, communities, and ministries.

Each year, many return home with the confident knowledge that the healing power of Jesus is available to all of us today! The Healing School is led by the Director of Bethel’s Healing Rooms, Chuck Parry, under the direction of Bill Johnson. Every week, people come from all over the globe to receive ministry at the Healing Rooms, where the miraculous power of Jesus and creative miracles have become frequent and expected.

And yet Bethel shut down their church, School of Supernatural Ministry and the Healing Houses during the pandemic.

And yet his wife remains unhealed.

And yet his theology is trash and he basically functions as a heresy generator.

Everything in that promo is a lie. The whole event is a lie. Bethel is in for a reckoning, and only God knows how they’ll react when it does.

Bill Johnson’s Wife, Beni, Takes a Turn for the Worse

Several months ago, Bethel Church Head Honcho Bill Johnson announced that his wife Beni Johnson was starting new rounds of chemotherapy, the result of several cancerous tumors being revealed by a CT scan inside her body after a season of prolonged illness. Beni was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and this news to the congregation prompted lead prophet Kris Vallotton to tell the congregation to pray and insist that divine health is their ‘portion.’

Unfortunately, things have only worsened since then, with Church leaders making a public plea during their recent February 6 Sunday service, calling on their members and believers worldwide to pray for his wife, who has not been sleeping and has been having trouble breathing, in what he described as a “serious situation.”

“Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete. So that’s just a little overview of the grace that we need to pray persistently for important things. And what I want to call you to right now is, say, taking this general topic and moving it to something specific and concrete, is I really want to invite us as a congregation to move in persistent prayer for Bill and for Beni. I want us to give heaven no rest until Beni is completely healed. Totally healed. Totally, he’ll give Beni the bread of healing.

…So I’m always trying to take my cues from Bill. You know, he’s just humble, and he’s kind of quiet about the situation they’re facing. But listen, this is a serious situation. Beni’s health is a serious situation. And when I get a text, I’m so appreciative of the text that you sent. But he’s like, ‘last night was a tough night. She didn’t sleep too well. She’s not breathing too well.’ Listen, beloved, this is unjust, that our matriarch, that Beni is actually being robbed of her sleep, and having difficulty breathing. This is not as it should be.”

The church has also set up a 24/7 prayer calendar

CT Today reported years ago during her first diagnosis that in 2017 “Beni Johnson revealed she had a heavenly encounter with Jesus in the spirit and gained access to healing power over cancer” and told the congregants to begin grabbing the healing power of cancer “out of heaven” as a means of obtaining healing.

Last year during a Q&A Bill Johnson explained that “It is always God’s will to heal everyone” and that he never prays “if it be your will to heal”, as that is a prayer for unbelief, given that God has already revealed to Johnson that’s it’s always his will.

Cancer has Returned? Bill Johnson’s Wife Beni in Chemo for ‘Three Very Large Tumors’

Bethel Church Head Honcho Bill Johnson has announced that his wife Beni Johnson is presently undergoing chemotherapy, the result of several tumors being revealed by a CT scan inside her body after a season of prolonged illness.

Johnson made the announcement during yesterdays’ church service, explaining:

Benni and I took the last several weeks, 3-4 weeks off vacation and did one of the things we like doing the most and that’s staying at home- a staycation.

One of the reasons we actually didn’t go anywhere this year is because Beni has been so sick. She’s not been well for a while but especially the last month. We arranged to have a CT scan- they found three very large tumors and so she is undergoing chemo.  The first treatment was this last week.

And we are like everybody else, contending for the breakthrough that’s already been provided, we know that’s true. There’s that weird verse in proverbs that says:” The horse is prepared for the day of battle, the victory belongs to the Lord.” So we’re doing the natural thing knowing that our salvation really is in the hand of the Lord.

Beni was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018.

Lead prophet Kris Vallotton, taking the stage, told the congregants that “this isn’t a season of mourning, but of warfare” and prayed against the cancer.

After the prayer, Johnson told the stunned crowd:

We’re not begging for a miracle. It’s already been bought and paid for. The entire Christian life for me is learning what’s in my possession and what’s in my account and how to make withdrawals, and that’s the entire Christian life.

…Guilt and shame is false humility, and it introduces you to an insulation to breakthrough, and so what you want to do is stay away from that…but what we know for sure is that divine health is our portion. We know that no weapon formed against us can prosper. We know that he sent his word that is finely tuned and specifically designed for Benni’s situation.

Bethel Church Causes County of 175,000 to Lockdown Over COVID Cases

Does God cause Sickness? “I refuse to create a theology that allows for sickness… You can only give away what you have. Can God give away sickness? No: He’s not sick. You can’t give cancer if you don’t have it….Does God ever choose not to heal? No. ~Bill Johnson.

Shasta County in California has announced that they are implementing stricter lockdown policies and curtailing a host of business activities on account of a dramatic spike in COVID cases, the vast majority tied to Bethel Church’s School of Supernatural Ministry (SSM).

The County, which has been in Tier 2 up to this point, made the decision to entered into Tier 1 after 274 positive diagnoses of COVID cases were reported at Bethel’s SSM. As a result of the downgrade, the County is enforcing the following restrictions:

  • Places of businesses like hair salons may be open while abiding by the mask and social distancing rules.
  • Retail stores can be open but with only 25% capacity.
  • Places of worship, gyms, movie theaters, wineries and restaurants will be required to move all services all outdoors.
  • Bars that don’t serve food will be required to close.
  • People who work in offices will be required to work remotely.

The Megachurch of 11,000 has been called out specifically by Dean Germano, chief executive officer for Shasta Community Health Center, after Bill Johnson’s wife, Beni, called masks “worthless” in a since-deleted (but saved here for posterity) video.

“It’s disconcerting to see leadership in any role disavowing the basic public health tenets of distancing and masking…It’s infuriating particularly for those working in the health care side of things (who are) dealing with the repercussions of people failing to do this.”

Many residents of Shasta county are outraged over the actions of Bethel Church, which already has a mixed “love them or hate them” public image, with one business owner saying “It’s because of these idiots that I have to close my business again. I can’t sustain this. I’m going to go bankrupt because these a****** hate science. And I’m not the only retailer who thinks so.” and another commenting “Can you imagine being responsible for a quarter of a million people re-entering lockdown? From a church that is all about miraculous healing and supernatual [sic] miracles? Unreal. ”

Kris Vallotton, a spokesperson for Bethel speaking about the virus spreading among church members, called the criticism unfair:

“I think it’s important to note although we’ve had some spread and our students have participated in that spread, there are churches that have been having services in our city,” he said. “We’re not one of them.”

Bethel shut down their healing houses 8 months ago, discontinued in-person classes at the School of Supernatural Ministry weeks ago, and Bethel Church has been closed since the pandemic began.
