Rock band ‘Fit for a King, which once described themselves as a ‘Christian band,’ is presently touring with a group that burns Bibles and Bible-like props on stage, according to a new report by Church Leaders.
The group, which is signed to Solid State Records (once considered a Christian label but now has various bands of all religious or non-religious beliefs), is presently touring with Motionless in White on their ‘Sweat and Blood’ tour.
Church Leaders notes that in a 2017 interview, Fit for a King vocalist Ryan Kirby said of his faith:
“I try to tell people we are a Christian band, but we’re not a worship band. That’s the thing that trips up people who complain about the darkness in our lyrics, but I think as a Christian band, we’re equally responsible to let people know how bad the world is, because we can make a change. The first thing we have to do is acknowledge that there is a problem in order to try to change it.”
Kirby always was a little squirrelly, however, and a quick perusal of his X page shows he has deconstructed since then. He is functionally pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, and believes the Bible is a compromised, corrupted book which isn’t inspired or infallible.

For their part, Motionless in White founder and lead vocalist Chris Cerulli has previously described religion as “vile” and sang about it in his song “Thoughts & Prayers:”
