Joseph Z is the founder of Z Ministries, an umbrella corporation for his various media ministries. He’s previously explained in interviews:
From a very young age, I have had highly prophetic and supernatural encounters. As a result, I began to study and search for answers to these occurrences. What started at the age of 9, hearing my name called by an audible Voice led to training people in the prophetic and holding prophetic meetings for the past 25 years worldwide.
Z, who has strenuously opposed the maxim that prophesying falsely makes one a false prophet, regularly shares his prophetic updates and insights through his YouTube channel, receiving “words from the Lord” at a rapid rate that he squirrels away for when anything even remotely similar comes to pass, with much of his ministry spent talking about words of warning for America and everything from nuclear fallout to giant tornadoes and solar eclipses.
Five months ago, he appeared on Daystar Network, where he claimed to be receiving direct revelation from the Lord. He prayed for Joni Lamb and her ministry, prophesying that great things were in store for her.
Joni Lamb, the Lord says ‘you have passed. and you are coming to the other side now.’ And for God Almighty is saying, ‘have I not given you the crown? Have I not given you the scepter? And will you not gain a second scepter?’ says the Lord.
I’m bringing a second scepter into your hand. For my eyes have seen and my ears have heard. And I know this hour and I have predestined it for you and this season that you’re walking in.’So the blessing of the Lord is upon this platform. The blessing of the Lord is upon this ministry. And God is saying, ‘I reside here.’ And strength is upon you, Joni. Strength is upon you, Doug. And what the enemy has meant for evil, the Lord God Almighty of heaven is gonna turn it around for your good. And he’s gonna make it better than it was in the first place.
And I see God’s hand of favor upon you. Righteousness exalts a nation. And I call you a Deborah. I call you not only an Esther, but I call you a warrior in the house of God.
And the Lord says, ‘you carry a mantle like an Abraham,’ Joni. And I bless you and Doug together, and we stand with you. And I want to just say this, God is here. I bless the woman of God. We bless Doug and Joni. Thank you, Jesus.”
Five months later she was dead, following a long battle with an illness and a back injury, with the announcement from Daystar noting:
Prior to her recent back injury, Lamb had been dealing with serious health matters that she chose to face head on and in private.
The back injury compounded those challenges and led to a more serious medical situation than anyone had anticipated. Despite the dedicated efforts of her medical team and the prayers of so many around the world, her condition worsened in the last few days.
