St. Andrews Chapel, one of the largest PCA churches in the country, founded and formerly led by the late R.C. Sproul, is reconsidering its denominational affiliation less than two years after joining the PCA, according to byFaith Online.
During May of 2025, the Session of Saint Andrew’s Chapel received over 180 letters from communicant members requesting a congregational meeting to consider withdrawing from the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). On May 13, 2025, per BCO 25-2, the Session decided to call for a congregational meeting on July 20, 2025.
…Instead of voting to remain or withdraw, the congregation referred the matter to the session to evaluate the situation and return with a recommendation.
A decision is expected by early 2026.
The church has recently faced scrutiny following the indefinite suspension of its senior pastor, Burk Parsons, after being found guilty of unbecoming pastoral conduct by the PCA’s Central Florida Presbytery
Additionally, St. Andrews Chapel has been criticized for a lack of transparency, particularly after the Presbytery ordered the church to disclose its financial statements and budget to members in good standing, something they refused to do. The request by the Presbytery comes after chruch leaders denied requests from multiple members seeking access to these documents.

I’ve got my first check for a total of thirteen thousand US dollars. I am so energized, this is whenever I first really acquired something. I will work much harder now and I can hardly hang tight for the following week’s installment. Go to the Home tab for more detail. I highly recommend everyone to apply………………. …………….. Www.Works6.Com
My wife and I were attending members of S.A.C for a year, and decided to leave after the second Q&A over the issue. We already had issues over treatment from leadership but after hearing accusations from the session of corruption and witch hunting from the presbytery, enough was enough. If they leave, it’s schism and shows they are unfaithful to what they confess to believe, that they want accountability from the presbytery. Have emailed the teaching elders and my elder regarding the issues and largely have been brushed off. We are no longer attending and are seeking membership at a more faithful PCA church.
