Prominent SBC pastor Mike Stone of Emmanuel Baptist Church shared on social media today that his 19 year old daughter, Sarah Ellington Stone, has passed away three months after entering hospice care.
While no specific diagnoses other than numerous physical illnesses have been given, according to her mother Andrea, who has been her caregiver, Sarah has long been battling physical ailments related to neuromuscular weakness and POTS, along with the complications that come with it.
Despite her frequent suffering, discomfort, and hard days, Sarah’s public testimony to all who knew her is that she never ceased turning to the Lord for comfort and mercy- for her great joy and salvation. Last year she pinned these beautiful truths to her Facebook wall:
