UCC Pastor Praises Looking At Porn, Cites Jesus Being Baptized Naked, King David Dancing Nude

A progressive mainline pastor is praising the use of pornography, explaining that Christians need to be more comfortable with nudity and self-pleasure to deal with these trying political and economic times.

Beverly H. Dale is an ordained minister with the Disciples of Christ (DOC) and serves as the clergy-in-residence at United Christian Church of Levittown, Pennsylvania.

She’s also the founder and chair of the Incarnation Institute for Sex and Faith, an organization dedicated to promoting every sexual deviance under the sun, including BDSM, premarital sex, polygamy, LGBTQ relationships, and the use of pornography.

During a recent teaching session, Dale explains that Christians need to become more comfortable with seeing nudity and nakedness, and with the notion that using pornography can be beneficial:

Is there anything redemptive about using pornography? Well, science will tell us that when couples use it together there’s no negative impact to their couples if they’re using it together. Or there is actually a positive impact with those couples. And they say that it improves their relationship to use erotica. That comes from science, right?

Explaining that “there’s lots of nudity in the Bible,” she claims that Peter was fishing nude, that Jesus was baptized in the nude, and that David danced in the nude “so much so that the young women really appreciated what they were seeing.”

“There are some very good reasons why one would use it. And one is it’s a good stress release. Assuming, of course, to watch or engage in pornography would also include self-pleasure. So to have an orgasm would be to reduce the tension in one’s body.”

She later on adds that ‘ethical porn’ created by performers getting a fair wage is great for couples to use, but regular porn is not, because it’s usually sexist, racist, stereotypes attractive bodies, is ableist and ageist, and reinforces heteronormative relationships, resulting in “gender injustice.

Finally, she concludes:

The reason I wanted to focus on pornography, and I will do several sessions on this topic, is because of the political stress that we are enduring in the United States right now.

The political stress of having our democracy being torn apart piece by piece, department by department. People are afraid of losing their social security, about their health care, whether or not their job will be there in the next day or veterans benefits.

So we need to lower our stress level and so pornography comes up in my mind. We need to lower stress level. Why? Because when we are not stressed we think more clearly.

..It will also keep us centered in ways to say ‘no, that’s mean, that’s bullying, and ‘I will resist that’ or ‘I will protect someone who is standing in the way of those people who are bullying or want to do something unjust and unfair.’

I think pornography use may well help you and me reduce our stress level.
