The Catholic chaplaincy in the Diocese of St. Gallen sponsored a drag show earlier this month, according to a report in the Catholic Herald.
On Sept. 18, drag queens Lupa Nova and Amelie Putain (below) performed at St. Gallen’s Grabenhalle concert in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Titled ‘Deep Drag,’ the event was organized by Ann-Katrin Gässlein, a theologian and scholar who is part of the city pastoral care team and head of Culture and Formation at St. Gallen Catholic church.
The since-deleted promo material reveals that the event combines “drag art with social, spiritual, and cultural issues” and seeks to create “an open space for performance, conversation, and shared reflection on what moves people, without distinction of age, origin, or lifestyle.”
According to InfoVaticana:
A diocesan worker will interview the two artists and relay questions previously sent by the public. The performances include cross-dressing, suggestive dances, and revealing costumes, as the Herald describes.
Admission is free, but donations will be collected during the evening for HAVEN99, an organization that provides housing for transgender youth in “a shared queer and supportive apartment” when “they feel uncomfortable or unsafe in their private lives.” The pastoral’s website expressly invites donations, and the promotional poster includes a QR code to facilitate them.
Both performers have publicly stated that their goal is to change the public’s perspective in favor of LGBT claims.
In response to criticism of the event, Gässlein said Bishop Beat Grögli had been “informed about the event in the spirit of transparent communication” and that it wasn’t spontaneous but had been in planning for months.

Not surprised at all. Roman catholicism is a demonic religion so who is shocked they would just reflect it in another way. And so tired of hearing how these mentally ill people are “unattack” and “face threats.” Our depraved culture accepts these people who belong in a mental asylum like never before. They just use the “poor defenseless me” to slither their way to tap into human’s emotions. And since Eve, it has always worked and Satan knows that.
And I meant “under attack.”
It amazes me how people think they know better than God knows. And in the case of sexual immorality and perversion, it’s not exactly a mystery. It is about eternal fate first and foremost. But even in this temporal world, the evidence is clear. Consider the amount of death, misery, disease, suffering, war throughout history resultant from sexual immorality, including perversions of every form. It’s likely the number one cause of death in history, second only to the sin of Adam. And those who promote it are the ones who are truly the genocidal maniacs. They talk about love, but they have no love. It’s all about themselves. Transvestism is an abominable sin by itself. (Deut 22:5, etc.) But it is also a very wicked form of bearing false witness. It is deceitful.
They do not promote peace. They promote conflict. Nothing good ever results from sin.
It takes an extremely prideful, wicked, (and frankly stupid) individual to say in his or her heart, “I know better than God knows”. To say “I know how to bring about peace, and God doesn’t”. To say “I know what’s good for mankind, and God doesn’t”.
That right there is exponentially stupid …
Ultimately, they’re just telling on themselves.
But notice the sheer absurdity, and outright stupidity, of their reasoning.
They essentially claim that sin creates peace and safety, and conversely that righteousness creates conflict. Right. It’s not the sinner who creates his own lack of safety. It’s the mean and terrible righteous people. It’s their fault. And by extension, God’s fault for making them feel unsafe …
Look here, I’ll tell you (them) straight up. If you constantly provoke people, constantly get in people’s face, constantly try to force people to condone sin, violate their conscience, and defy their Creator. If you constantly try to not only get in between others and their creator, but try to take their Creator’s place. You constantly teach a false gospel that will lead many to eternal lack of safety (hello? anybody home in that reprobate noggin?). On and on and on and on. If you do these things, should it be any surprise that conflict may result? Stupid fools. Your wickedness makes you stupid. If you want to be safe, then maybe you should have sense enough to quit provoking others and quit causing conflict.
Sin does not produce safety. It produces death.
Sin does not make you safer. Righteousness does not put you in danger. Sin does that. You do it to yourself.
If and when you constantly sin against others, shove your wickedness in their faces, try to force them to defy their Creator, even try to take their Creator’s place, and so on, how stupid are you to believe anything peaceful or good could result? And targeting the children with your wickedness? You’re stupid enough to believe that’s going to make you safer? Target mine, and see what happens. Better yet and better said, target the Lord’s children, and see what happens. It’ll be better for you if you were tied to a millstone and thrown to the bottom of the sea!
Sin makes you stupid. It truly does. It’ll make you dumber than dirt, and then some. And these abominations are a perfect example of it. Absolutely nothing they say or do comes anywhere close to promoting peace and safety. They promote the opposite, and they even relish in causing the conflict.

They seem to believe if they can just get rid of righteous men, they’ll be safer. That’s the stupidity of their “reasoning”. When they can make everybody on the planet as wicked as they are, then they’ll be safe.

What they want is to do away with consequences for sin.
And they point the finger at the righteous saying to themselves, in their wicked hearts and reprobate minds, that it’s the righteous who cause the ills of the world. All they’ve got to do is “fix” all the righteous people, and then they’ll have utopia. To get rid of the consequences, get rid of the righteous.
But who set those consequences in place? Sin has due consequence. Mankind, even the most righteous, doesn’t impose that due consequence. God set it into place from the foundations of the world.
You go engaging in bestiality, then you bring terrible disease on the world. God set that due consequence into place. It will never change. You go messing around with one another’s dung, then you bring disease into the world. God set that due consequence into place. You go around cheating and sleeping around, then you bring severe conflict into the world. You start targeting children, and you’d darned well better believe you’ll provoke conflict and put yourself in an unsafe situation real quick. God set these due consequences into place, and they will never change or go away anymore than He will ever change or go away, or His word will ever change or go away.
So this is their “genius” … get rid of all the righteous and bring about much misery and pestilence. Get into peoples faces provoking them, intentionally causing conflict, and relishing in that conflict. (Generally believing anything good could result from sin …) Do all that, and then there will be perfect utopia.
Sin makes you stupid … dumber than dirt stupid. It truly does. They claim the exact opposite of the gospel. They diametrically oppose and rebel against their Creator, saying to themselves that sin will bring safety and it’s righteousness that is the problem. In their hearts they say it’s not sin that brings death, but righteousness that brings death.

We need to look at things and try to understand more from God’s perspective, and less from our own.
Ultimately every disease, all misery, all death, it all resulted from the sin of Adam.
And the consequences for Adam’s sin were due consequences that God had already set into place.
Why would He do that? To just be a meanie?
Consider this. If there is no due consequence and ramifications for the decisions and choices we make, then the decisions and choices we make are of zero significance. Our choices and decisions wouldn’t matter. If the outcome is the same perfection, then what difference is the choice? So without due consequence there is no free will. Even when the choice is not concerning whether or not to sin, and when the options considered may not be sinful. There are ramifications. Without due consequence there aren’t ramifications. Without ramifications there is no free will. Indeed, without due consequence their is no intelligence … there’s nothing intelligent about making an entirely irrelevant, meaningless decision that has no ramifications. Right …
God set it all into place from the beginning, including due consequence, because He loves us. His commandments are not grievous. His commandants do not produce death, but life. Sin does not bring life. It does not bring safety. It does not produce anything good. And it always, always affects others. All those who suffered pestilence, misery, and death resultant from sexual sin. Did they all engage in sexual sin themselves? Nope. Did they deserve to suffer the due consequences of somebody else’s wickedness? Nope. Sexual immorality, including transvestism, is among the most unjust and unloving sins in existence. It betrays a hatred of others, and a love only for oneself. There’s a reason God calls certain sins abominations.
When they say “love wins” they’re not wrong. God is love. God will win. That’s guaranteed. The fact that love wins is exactly why they have already lost. Only wicked-hearted fools go to war against their Creator …
