More than 50 protesters spent Sunday morning protesting outside the new church of embattled Myrtle Beach pastor John-Paul Miller, following the release of the new Netflix documentary Death of the Pastor’s Wife.
Miller, who has come under renewed scrutiny after it was revealed that he had numerous affairs and seemingly drove his wife, Mica Miller, to suicide, including by reportedly posting nude pictures of her on Facebook, has been harassed relentlessly by protesters since announcing his wife’s death in 2024.
An event shared by TikTok user Rob Radosti revealed that Sunday’s protest was the largest of the year, with people holding up signs outside the newly minted ‘Mercy Church’ that said:
“There is incredible *danger* in unmet needs- John Paul Miller’s own words.”
“Was 4 times a day not enough John Paul Miller” [Editor’s Note. According to the documentary, John Paul-Miller insisted on sex with Mica four times a day and would become upset if he didn’t get it.
“This story matters., Mica’s Law. Our voices matter.”
“Justice for Mica. Justice for all victims.”
“JP Belongs in Jail. Hell Awaits.”

Radosti said police officers were on site to keep the peace, while an estimated 15 to 20 die-hard congregants attended the service.
