Global Vision Pastor Greg Locke revealed during his Sunday sermon that his home was raided by 59-60 Federal Agents in an early morning search raid.
Locke revealed that three weeks into his six-week sabbatical, which he was taking after his son died of a drug overdose, agents came to his house to enact a search warrant:
“At 6:00 in the morning, 60 federal agents surrounded our home and we didn’t know they were there. And I heard a faint knock at the door and I got up and by the time I got my robe on and got out of the bedroom a team of federal agents had batter rammed in our front door in riot gear and had me on the ground.
I was screaming, “I’ve got kids in the house. Don’t shoot. Don’t shoot. I’ve got kids in the house.” And they drugged my wife outside in her night shirt and underwear, kicked our kids’ bedroom doors in, drugged my kids out of bed. Three of them were home.
We didn’t know what was going on. Here’s my kids mourning the loss of their brother. And they’ve got my son Malachi up against the wall with a AR in his back.”
As to the nature of the raid:
They pulled me aside and said, “Uh, we’re here because of an over of abundance the last couple of years of allegations online that you have misappropriated church funds.”
I was so shocked in the moment. I said, “A phone call wouldn’t have sufficed?” For three hours, they served us two search warrants. One for our house, one for Lock Media, and then a subpoena for the church building.

As a result of the raid, Locke further shared that his and the church’s personal bank accounts have been canceled, that they have not been able to pay their staff or bills, such as their insurance, and that they will likely lose their building.
Two weeks ago, we went to conduct our normal business, and because the government had subpoenaed the records from our banks, the bank said, ‘Sorry, all of your accounts are canceled immediately,’”
They canceled all of our Global Vision accounts. We have operated; I don’t know how we have operated this church for two weeks with no income and no outflow.”
He later added that he has nothing to hide and did no wrong, but that the whole affair was made extra difficult on account of the timing:
“The thing that angered me was not that it happened, but that the enemy kicked us while we were down. And it took away the opportunity for me to continue to grieve Evan.”
