In a strongly worded internal statement sent to its Real Men and Real Women leaders, mentors, attendees, and staff, Trinity Church, led by Mark Driscoll, has publicly rebuked its former Mens and Ops pastor for what it describes as a deceptive and divisive exit aimed at planting a rival congregation.
The statement, obtained by Protestia, confirms that Julie Krombein has resigned from her position as Real Women’s Director. It also reveals that last week Caleb Glennie and his wife Jill resigned “effective immediately” from their roles as Real Men’s Pastor and Real Women’s Coordinator, citing plans to “plant a church.”
Glennie was baptized by the Church in 2020 and became the ‘Mens and Ops pastor’ in 2023. He previously served on Driscoll’s security team and was involved in surveilling a young man and their family after the young man dated Driscoll’s daughter and had the temerity to kiss her without his permission.

According to the church, Glennie refused to meet with leadership, declined to properly hand off his duties in violation of his employment agreement, and demanded six months of severance pay. The statement further alleges that Glennie took private contact information belonging to church members in order to solicit them for his new work, urged other staff members to resign and follow him, wiped his church-issued laptop clean before returning it, and used the church credit card for personal expenses.
The church claims it had “no prior knowledge” of the departures, stating that Glennie had been “lying for months.” In addition to the resignations, the statement notes that Glennie held an informational meeting promoting the split and quickly announced a new Tuesday evening men’s gathering at 6:30 p.m.

The church noted that “We rebuke Caleb and urge him to repent of sin patterns that have disqualified him as a pastor.” (which is an ironic turn of events, given that being disqualified never stopped Driscoll, and it was only a few years ago that nearly 40 of his former Mars Hill eldersissued a statement calling him ‘unrepentant’ and ‘unfit’ for ministry)
The statement also reveals that “The Krombeins are with the Glennies” and confirmed that legal representation will be contacting both families regarding the alleged theft and misuse of the Real Men and Real Women contact lists.
Trinity Church has not yet released a public comment beyond the internal memo, nor have we seen anything from the Glennies or Krombeins at the time of publication.

Statement Regarding Divisive Former Staff Members
Dear Trinity Real Men and Real Women Leaders,
Mentors and Attendees, and Trinity Staff:
We are grieved to have to send this to you.
Julie Krombein has resigned from staff as Real Women’s Director. Last week, we were also first notified via email by Caleb Glennie that he and Jill resigned from staff as Real Men’s Pastor and Real Women’s Coordinator “effective immediately” to “plant a church”.
He refused to meet, hand off any duties in defiance of his employment agreement, asked for six months severance, took church members’ private information to solicit, urged staff members to resign and follow him, wiped his entire church laptop before returning it, spent money on the church credit card for personal use, had an informational meeting for their church split, and announced a Men’s gathering on Tuesdays at 6:30PM within days.
We had no prior knowledge as Caleb has been lying for months. We rebuke Caleb and urge him to repent of sin patterns that have disqualified him as a pastor. The Krombeins are with the Glennies.
Both families will be contacted by our legal representation for stealing and misusing the Real Men and Real Women contact lists.
For those involved, the words of Paul in Acts 20:28-31 are clarifying, “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood… fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be alert…”
Please be in prayer for your church family, its leadership, along with everyone else involved.
We last covered Mark Driscoll in our article Fox News Driscoll, which we catalogued him openly lying to his congregants, and also after we commented on his bizarre porno-visions:
Mark Driscoll says he'll be preaching when of a sudden he'll see vivid visions of his congregants getting r*ped, choked out, and children being mol*sted, right in front of him.

Fuller context of Driscoll's recent sermon about us. And folks; it's bad, with Mark repeatedly lying. 🚨🚨🚨

1. He doesn't seem to be a fan of new media, saying that blogs, social media, and YouTube "do not count as journalism" and should not be considered 'news.'
