‘Eat This! Swallow it!’ ‘Prophet’ Rips Page Out Of A Bible and Makes Teen Swallow It (Not Clickbait)

Kevin Leal is a self-styled “Prophet” of God who, according to his bio, has “faithfully served as a prophetic voice to the Body of Christ for over 30 years” and now “actively partners with apostolic leaders, empowering them to plant and develop churches that create a lasting Kingdom impact.”

When he’s not traveling the globe and speaking at conferences and church meetings, he’s hawking wares from his website, where he helps people become “dream detectives” that can give dream interpretation. He also helps folk attain “prophetic prosperity” by teaching them to using their prophetic gifts to go “up in a down market.”

During a recent service at the Rock Church in Parkersburg, WV, senior Pastor David Chisholm told a teen who came to the front:

“I saw a vision so clearly. It was insane. I saw you sitting at a table, a dinner table, knife, fork, spoon, and laying in front of you was a Bible. And it was open to the book of Proverbs.

And I’ve seen you reach down and you took chapter one and you tore it out and you crumpled it up and you put it in your mouth and you chewed it and you swallowed it. And then you went to chapter two. You tore it out of the Bible, you crumpled it up, put it in your mouth and swallowed it.

And I’m giving you a command. Every day for the next several years in your development, you eat at least one chapter of the book of Proverbs, the book of Ecclesiastes, and the book of Psalms in at least 10 different translations.

Find 10 different versions and eat a chapter a day because you’re going to have to have the wisdom of God to do this call that God’s got on your life.”

Not to be outdone, Prophet Leal asked that someone bring a Bible to him. There, in front of hundreds of people, he ripped a page out of the Bible and told the teen to put it in his mouth, chew on it, and swallow it, even offering him a glass of water to help get it down. The young man obliged, to the instant shouts of “Swallow it! All of it!”
