Reality TV Show Produced by Chip and Joanna Gaines Ft. Same Sex Couple

A new reality TV show from Christian couple Chip and Joanna Gaines, Back to the Frontier, has drawn attention for prominently featuring a same-sex couple among its three families in an eight-episode social experiment.
The Gaineses gained fame through their HGTV series Fixer Upper (2013–2018), with Chip overseeing construction and Joanna doing the interior design. They built Magnolia, a successful brand that includes a market, bakery, restaurant, real estate company, and home decor lines, and launched the Magnolia Network in 2021.
Occasionally open about their Christian faith, the couple discussed its influence on their lives during a 2021 appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday, revealing all the ways that God speaks to them
Their latest project, Back to the Frontier, which they executive produced in partnership with HBO Max, places three families in 1881 pioneer conditions—without electricity, modern amenities, or toilet paper—for eight weeks to gain perspective on their ancestors’ lives and appreciation for what they have now.
“I’m not a crier, but I felt it,” Joanna told USA Today. “I felt this sense of peace; I felt home. The idea that these three families got out of their busy rut and got to have this experience of eight weeks together going through the hard, going through the beautiful, it was like this spiritual experience that I felt for these families.”
Unlike Fixer Upper, which notably faced criticism for not including LGBTQ couples, Back to the Frontier intentionally features a gay married couple with two children, reflecting a purposeful choice by the Gaineses to highlight them as a legitimate family and the supposed love and affection they have for each other.

Utter and total compromise.
I saw a clip where Chip said that he doesn’t go to church, his church is nature, when a calf is born that is like experiencing God. That told me everything I needed to know. False god, false church, false Christians.
If anyone watches HGTV, gay couples are regularly featured, so no surprise here. The same with most “reality” contests like Survivor or Amazing Race, etc. Not news; just part of the continuing social and moral degradation characterizing the USA and the world at large.

Like many of these other grifters on HGTV, A&E, TLC etc. They put on an act for a paycheck, which includes magazines, home products, books and a retail store. We will not view these phonies any more.
Like many of the other grifters on cable, they put on an act and sold their souls to earn the almighty dollar. We will not be watchin these two phonies any more
Same.
So disappointing.
Welp, that’s how a person goes straight to hail. The show’s over, folks! Chip and Joanna have knelt before the altar of the almighty Rainbow Mafia!
Perhaps the series should be titled, “Watch Your Back to the Frontier”?
Servants of mammon …
yes, this is true. for each of us who profess to be Christians, how can our beliefs be so different? because we are only human. in my world I try to understand and accept each person just as they are. as christians we are taught to not throw stones.
So disapointing…God is very clear on homosexuality & marriage. Satan’s victory in the loss of Gaines standing for Biblical standards as they have in the past. Probably for money. My money will not be to any of their sponsers & I will notify their sponsers as such.
