Benny Hinn Heals Thousands At Massive Healing and Miracle Crusade?

“I am not the same Benny Hinn of 10 years ago. The Word has changed me,” said Benny Hinn, speaking to more than half a million visitors attending his three-day crusade in Uganda, the largest in the country’s recent history.

Hinn was the primary speaker at the Miracle Center Cathedral, a megachurch in Kampala founded and led by Robert Kayanja, one of the wealthiest pastors in the country, in what was marketed as a “Miracle Healing Crusade” where the promo material declared “Bring the sick, the lame, the blind, the dead, the deaf, the demon tormented, GOD WILL HEAL THEM ALL”

The event was announced by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, who personally hosted Hinn and attended the event.
We last wrote about the noted prosperity-gospel heretic after he offered invitations to his birthday party for $5000 a person, released a ‘major prophecy’ two weeks before Hama’s attack on Israel where he claimed God told that Israel would soon make peace with Saudi Arabia and then Palestine, cajoled a conference crowd for more money and “seed offerings” with some of the most blatant and dishonest manipulations we’ve ever seen, after his wife divorced him, and then after he knocked down entire swaths of crowds at a Kenyan crusade in 2024.
Benny Hinn, once known for his extravagant crusades, has maintained a lower profile in recent years following a damaging exposé by apologist Mike Winger. Despite this, he remains highly popular in Africa, where an estimated 750,000 people from 40 countries reportedly attended his event over a weekend (attendance estimates have been ranging from 500,000 to 1.5 million.)

Along with Hinn claiming nearly 10,000 pastors attended the event, masses of desperate people lined up for hours beforehand, wheelchairs and crutches in tow, seeking healing. Some local news outlets reported “thousands” have been healed of conditions like cancer, HIV, spinal injuries, blindness, and deafness, though no claims have been verified.
