(Juicy Ecumenism) A decision handed down last week by the highest court in the United Methodist Church (UMC) further erodes space for traditionalists within the denomination.

Pastors will have sole discretion as to whether or not same-sex marriages will take place at local churches according to an April 29 ruling by the UMC Judicial Council. The decision came as a surprise to many who had the assurance of UMC officials that they would have a voice in how their local churches responded to the changes made at last year’s UMC General Conference.

  2. It’s sad that many of the churches are following world views instead the one who actually wrote the Bible. Yeshua. The Holy God of the Bible. As the verse says,
    Matthew 7:13-14

    The Narrow Way
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and [b]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

    1. You are just as apostate as they are for calling Jesus “Yeshua” you Judaizing trash who worships Israel which is who are spreading LGBTQP+. The only name that can save is Jesus, the Greek form. “Yeshua” from the Talmud, their characature of Jesus will lead you to hell. Confess Jesus or perish.

      1. Hold your horses Adolf Jr. Jesus is a Hebrew name. Not a Greek name. Because, well, He is Hebrew and not Greek.

“Iēsoús – Jesus, the transliteration of the Hebrew term, 3091 /Lṓt (“Yehoshua”/Jehoshua, contracted to “Joshua”) which means “Yahweh saves” (or “Yahweh is salvation”).”

  3. Well the apostate church has got to step up to the plate if there’s going to be an inclusive one world religion. Got to break those old religious chains holding us back. Since CV19 has come and gone, the Powers That Be need a new gimmick to get those WEF 2030 goals met. They might need to pull out some ace card like a nuke exchange in India/Pakistan to get things moving. Calming the huddled masses with a seeker friendly AI god would be very helpful as well as fluid social rules at any face to face church encounters. All this for the greater good. (sarc)

  4. Last I checked 1 Cor. 5 says “do not associate”

And what that means is … DO NOT ASSOCIATE

Prov. 17:15 says do not justify wickedness

And what that means is … DO NOT JUSTIFY WICKEDNESS

I don’t care how much they talk about respecting conscience, the independence of local bodies, and so on, the fact of the matter is that any and all who stay in those apostate denominations and “churches”, and so continuing to associate, are every bit as guilty, continuing in sin.
