Man Claims to BE Jesus Christ Seconds Before Being Baptized, Stunned Pastor Wisely Postpones

A pastor received the shock of his life after a man he was about to baptize suddenly blurted out that he was Jesus Christ in the flesh, prompting the stunned elder to cancel proceedings.

During a recent service at Catalyst Church in Evansville, Indiana, pastor David Whitmore was poised to baptize a man named Jared, who then claimed to be Jesus Christ, saying, “I’m back, boys.”

A confused Whitmore paused and asked him, “Have you placed your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior?” to which the young man replied that he wasn’t Jared, resulting in Whitmore concluding the baptism until they might have further discussion.
