‘Naked Pastor’ Facebook Page Still Hacked Two Weeks Later

David Hayword is the author and creator of ‘Naked Pastor,’ a moniker he uses in his quest as a prominent LGBTQ-affirming apostate to “seek to tell the naked truth – no matter how vulnerable it feels.”

A Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary graduate, he spent 30 years as a pastor, where, as he describes, “like a slow glacial melt, my deconstruction spread throughout my system, causing me great theological and spiritual anxiety.”

A decade ago he left the pastorate and became a full-time artist, amassing a large following by posting pithy cartoons about the Bible and Christianity that almost exclusively feature strawman arguments, circular reasoning, category errors, false dichotomies, and whatever other incoherent emotionalism hell’s gayest demon is no doubt whispering in his ear.

On June 28, he announced that his Facebook page was hacked and taken over by malicious actors.

Unlike when Christian Comedian John Crist’s page was hacked and populated with pornographic content, the Naked Pastor’s perpetrators are far more benign, changing his logo and posting low-level wannabe viral content.

Hayward is still presently posting from his Instagram page and there is no ETA for when/if his Facebook page will be restored.
