The cause of death has been revealed for 30-year-old Mica Miller, whose story has gone viral after a video was shared showing her estranged pastor-husband announcing her death in a strange way following the church service, weeks after she filed for divorce.
According to Robeson County Medical Examiner Dr. Richard Johnson, Miller died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“Based on the nature of the wound, that it is consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. And it was not in the back of the head, as it has been speculated.”
Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said they will release more information today and asked for everyone to “please await the full timeline of events before making assumptions and coming to conclusions.”
Notably, Miller divorced his first wife after having an affair with Miller, who is 15 years his junior and who he met when she was 14 year old and he was her youth pastor.
