Pope Francis Says Pope Benedict XVI Backed Him Up In Supporting Civil Marriages for LGBTQ Couples
Pope Francis had called out his predecessor Pope Benedict as an ally who backed him up when he mapped out his support for civil partnerships for same-sex couples, according to the new book “The Successor: My Memories of Benedict XVI,” which he released on Tuesday.
In 2020 Francis confirmed his support for this perversion, saying at the time:
Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God. What we have to have is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered…What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered. I stood up for that.”
Since then he has been on a roll, recently allowing priests to bless same-sex couples. According to a report by Premier Christian News:
Francis said Benedict stood up for him before an unnamed group of cardinals who had gone to him to complain about the pope’s “heresies” on civil partnerships.“They showed up at his home to practically put me on trial and they accused me in front of him of backing same-sex marriage,” Francis said.
Benedict XVI listened, “helped them distinguish things” and told them that what Francis had said was “no heresy”, the pope said.
While there is no such thing as a ‘good’ pope, since they are the head of an evil and wicked heterodox church, Francis has been particularly noxious and vexatious, doing things like affirming the faith of Joe Biden and saying he would never refuse him communion because the President’s love for abortion is between him and God, endorsing civil unions for gay couples, appointing multiple pro-choice people to his pro-life organization, asking pagans to send him ‘good vibes,’ appointing a notorious pro-LGBTQ priest to a major post, and releasing an outrageously blasphemous statement.
This is more of the same.
