‘Pastor’ Joshua Feuerstein Offers To Lead Armed Militia to the Border

Oneness Pentecostal ‘pastor’ and hopeful politician Joshua Feuerstein has lent his support to Texas governor Greg Abbott, offering to lead an armed militia consisting of several ‘special forces operators’ to the border to deal with the surge of illegal immigrant “enemies.”

It’s about the sort of offer you’d expect from Feuerstein, who is also presently running for political office in Texas. Joshua Feuerstein is a run-amock Facebook savant known for making national headlines a few years back when he accused Starbucks of canceling Christmas by introducing generic red coffee cups rather than more festive ones. With no ecclesiastical credentials or authority, he makes a career out of spewing needlessly offensive nonsense.

However, given the sheer number of businesses and churches he starts that quickly become defunct, it’s a career that doesn’t appear to be doing too well.

  1. Jesus never urged His followers to take up arms against the Romans – this ‘pastor’ would be well-encouraged to follow that example.

  2. Luke 22 35And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. 37For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment.” 38And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.”

  3. The only enemy he needs to worry about is his cholesterol.

All those illegals should just go hide in a gym because that’s the last place he’ll look for them.

Someone should tell him that “Special forces operators” doesn’t mean specializing in operating a vending machine.

I could keep going. How does he expect to control the border when he can’t even control his appetite? There’s way too many of these boomer-tier conservatives that think the 2A and militias are some kind of deep magic that “patriotic freedom-loving Americans” will be able to conjure up at a moments notice to defeat tyranny. The 2A has done more to lull people into a complacent malaise because “when things get really bad, we’ll have our guns to fight back”. The ironic thing is, he’s still asking for permission from the government to make sure it’s OK to protect themselves from enemies.
