T.D. Jakes Denies Gay-Partying Rumors ‘I ain’t got to repent about this’

A representative for megachurch Bishop T.D. Jakes has denied claims that he engaged in gay intercourse at music mogul Diddy’s (Sean Combs, aka Puff Daddy) parties, telling The Christian Post that such claims were “unequivocally false and baseless.”

Previously, an X user made sensational allegations against Jakes. This initial post was viewed 11.4 million times, received 11,000 retweets, and saw Jakes trending for two days, resulting in countless memes and AI-generated images about him, along with culprits vandalizing his Wikipedia page.

The Christian Post reports:

“Recent claims circulating on pockets of social media about Bishop T.D. Jakes are unequivocally false and baseless,” Jordan A. Hora, executive director of public relations and communications for the T.D. Jakes Group, T.D. Jakes Ministries and The Potter’s House, told The Christian Post in an exclusive statement Thursday.

“What has always been true, in the words of the late Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon, ‘If you want the truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it.’

Jakes also addressed it directly during his Christmas Eve church service, telling congregants:

The worst that could happen, if everything was true, all I got to do is repent sincerely, from my heart. There’s enough power in the blood to cover all kinds of sin. I don’t care what it is, the blood would fix it. But I ain’t got to repent about this.”

  1. Although he is a theological heretic, It appears that the allegations about gay partying with P Diddy aren’t credible. It is a shame that so many believe garbage about this. Whether he is a genuine believer or not, I don’t know.
