Jesse Duplantis Claims God Changed the Words of the Constitution at the Last Minute Before Signing

Arch-heretic Jesse Duplantis, known for his love of filthy lucre and declaring that the Lord ‘flexes on him by ‘giving’ him a private jet, is a lost man. We wrote about him recently after he argued that if you don’t believe in the prosperity gospel as he does, one that has made him a multi-millionaire by savagely beating and twisting the scriptures for his gain for decades, then Jesus will tell you to “go to hell,” as you seemingly can’t handle all the riches that will be inlaid in heaven.

In a post a few months ago, he claimed to be the fulfillment of messianic prophesies eternally associated with Christ and in his new sermon, said that “When you see me, you see the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. You see God Incarnate.” We recently clocked him after he engaged in some massive manipulation tactics, saying that Jesus is perpetually crying and that people need to give him money so Jesus doesn’t have to cry anymore.

Well, the theologically decrepit old codger is up to his tricks again. After giving a brief history lesson on the country’s founders, he offered this tantalizing nonsense.

Now, the author of the Constitution of the United States is President James Madison, who was the fourth president of the United States. But he had this vision that God placed in him. And see what they wanted was not a United States of America, they wanted free and independent states. So each they could do their own thing, free and independent states, but that’s not power. So these four men had the vision.

So what happened when James Madison- he’s called the author of the Constitution- he was supposed to say, ‘we, the people of free and independent states.’ That’s the way it was supposed to happen, but God changed the word on the day that he spoke it, for the Constitution.

He said, ‘we the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect union’, you know, the preamble. And so what happened is, God united this United States together at that day under a document called the Constitution of the United States.

  1. I can assure Jesse that had God authored the US Constitution, he would’ve ended chattel slavery on the spot. smh

Great document written by great men, but neither they nor the Constitution were perfect. It is their recognition of their own imperfection, and the imperfection of mankind, which made it so great a document. But perfect it wasn’t.

To lose all faith after such a miraculous victory, and to fail to do what they knew should’ve been done, for fear of another war, actually speaks worse of them. Great and tremendous faith during the war. Very little whatsoever thereafter. If God gives you a miraculous victory, He’s not going to completely abandon you immediately thereafter.

They were not Jesus. And the Constitution is not God’s word.

    1. As I understand the history, 11 states wanted to end it. 2 did not. And they unified around compromise and abandonment of what the vast majority of them knew to be right and wrong in the sight of the Lord.

That’s not Godly unity. God does not approve of unifying around unrighteousness, or compromise therewith. The Bible is clear on that. That form of “United” is not of the Lord.

Reconstruction post Civil War was not Godly unity either, but that’s a different book too long to post.

One day God will create a perfect government, and rule for 1000 years. But until then, it’s not going to happen.

    2. Interesting how we don’t hear much talk about unity when there’s an R in the oval office. But as soon as a D is sworn in, all we hear is unity, unity, unity.

This country is still “unified” around unrighteousness and deals with the devil, more so than ever.

And that is nothing for a born again, Bible-believing Christian to be proud of.

Tough pill to swallow, but it’s the truth.

    3. I don’t know what the deal is with some people who seem to believe unity for the sake of unity is always good. Such a notion is extremely antithetical to scripture. And it’s fairly ridiculous as well. You can’t just manufacture unity out of thin air. Nobody unifies around nothing. Everybody unifies around something. The question is what.

Satan and his armies are united. Doesn’t make it good.

    4. Perfect union cannot be produced by unifying around imperfection.

If all 50 states completely agree that 2+2=5, it’s not a perfect union.
If all 50 states completely agree to support sin, it’s not a perfect union.

Perfection is not determined by consensus. Right and wrong are not determined by consensus.

The union is less perfect now than it has ever been. And things will continue to get worse, as we get closer to the final judgment.

    5. Reminds me of those old movies about the tribulation, made sometime around the late 70s or early 80s, where the name of the Antichrist’s organization was “UNITE”

For 3 1/2 years, the world will indeed be united.
