ELCA’s First Trans Bishop Sues Denomination For Misgendering Her+ Calling Her a Racist

Two years ago, Rev. Megan Rohrer (they/them) was over the moon. She just made history after being appointed to California’s Sierra Pacific Synod by the spiritually decrepit Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), who elected her to rule over them as Bishop continued, making her the first transgendered Bishop to lead the mainline protestant denomination.

This is the same Woke Pastrix that recently taught that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were Transgender Slaves.

But if you live by the wokeness, you die by the wokeness. The head of the ELCA, the Rev. Elizabeth A. Eaton asked for her resignation after Rohrer’s fired Nelson Rabell-González’ of the Misión Latina Luterana community on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. He was accused of abusing a fellow ‘pastor’ through ‘misogyny, disrespect, and threatening comments ‘and’ embezzling monies from the California Immigrant Relief Fund.’ Still, the ELCA decried this termination as ‘racist,’ and they called for her head, which was handily delivered.

In a message on Facebook, Roher said she is a victim of “misinformation, bullying and harassment” and, in true virtue-twerking fashion, points out that she could endure and fight the system, but then she would be a “poor role model” for her “black trans children.” and therefore resigned. 

But now she’s suing. According to reports:

In his her lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Rohrer accuses the denomination of discriminating against him her for being transgender and deliberately misgendering him her and creating a “hostile work environment.” He She is seeking monetary damages.

Rohrer, who now works as a senior communications specialist with a Black nondenominational church in San Francisco, said Thursday that he she always felt the support of Lutherans in the pews, but not from the higher echelons of the national church. On his her first day as bishop, during a video call, Rohrer said he she was misgendered and ridiculed for featuring drag queens at his her ordination.

Rohrer alleges in the lawsuit that he she was scapegoated and “publicly shamed as a racist.”
