Charlie Kirk Bashes The Church, Claims Jews Are Called By God To Evangelize

(Evangelical Dark Web) One of the indicators to the shifting Overton window is the speech that becomes acceptable for Conservative Inc to utter, with some shifts being more genuine than others. With Gen Z becoming more polarized than any prior generation, it should be expected that the Conservative Inc outreach program would drift rightward to meet the young base where they are, which is to some extent the success of Charlie Kirk’s TPUSA.
Whereas before TPUSA prioritized economic messaging of free markets and fighting back against the communist left, they have shifted dramatically into the Culture War. This month, they sent their contributors to Davos to weigh in on the World Economic Forum. The question must be asked, is this a genuine shift, or is it a means of monetizing and perpetuating the political soap opera?
Idolatry of Israel

One of the biggest inhibitors of US foreign policy is the idolatry of Israel, whereby US must unequivocally and unconditionally back the modern nation state of Israel above all else. Much of this is driven by Dispensational Theology, which places an unbiblical significance on modern Jews in relationship to the Church. Under the guise that the Jewish people have a unique claim to the Holy Land, this leads to billions in US foreign aid to a developed nation that possesses nuclear weapons.
During TPUSA’s Young Jewish Leadership Summit, which was held on December 16, 2022, Kirk stated the following before a crowd of presumably Jewish conservatives:

I agree with much of Ray’s article, particularly where it concerns blindly supporting anything and everything done by the government of the state of Israel, but it is important to note that, while many descendants of Jacob are hewn from the vine (have hewn themselves from the vine), that lineage, for some, does play a special role all the way through to the end. The 144,000, for example will be Christian descendants of Jacob. The two witnesses will be of that lineage. And so on. The Bible says that Jesus came first for the Jew and then the Gentile.
Israel, meaning descendants of Jacob, is heavily referenced in prophecy. And that is an important distinction. The name Israel refers to the descendants of Jacob, not to a state or piece of land. Yet as it applies to the land, the descendants of Jacob absolutely do have a legitimate and rightful claim.
Not all descendants of Abraham have a special role, but some do and will. The lineage is still significant. We gentiles are grafted in, but the root and stem of the vine are/were Christians who are descendants of Abraham.
Our own government pushes the same abominable wickedness as that of Israel, in many ways worse, because our government uses tax dollars to extort other countries in the world into accepting and supporting that wickedness. If you pay taxes, fly an American flag, are a patriot, and unconditionally support your own country, yet then say you wont support Israel, you are being a hypocrite. In many ways, our government is far worse.
I don’t know exactly where that puts us as Christians and what that means we should do. But it certainly would mean that we shouldn’t support our own government any more than we support that of Israel.

New Covenant believers are not God’s Plan B. They were God’s Plan A all along. So-called ‘replacement theology’ is a strawman argument.

No, I wasn’t twisting God’s word, Rev – not knowingly, anyway. There are always going to be these two competing views of actually who are true Israelites. I’m not a theologian that’s for sure, but I feel strongly that a converted gentile IS a true Israelite. I base this on Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus”, and Colossians 3: 11 “In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all”.

Well at least you have a good attitude about it. But in fact you are both correct and wrong at the same time. We gentiles who have accepted the Jewish messiah Jesus have been grafted into his body. The Jewish people according to scriptures will also be grafted in by faith at some point in time. Their spiritual blindness is only in part and for a season only. We have not replaced them, we have been added to God’s family, It’s His plan after all.
I agree with this. I still think that at the point of salvation/regeneration, there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile. Jesus said we must be born again. That is a spiritual birth, since the fleshly birth is already behind us, and the flesh is of no value in the reality of salvation. John spoke about this in saying “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God”. Jn 1:12-13. This is not to try to exclude Jews from God’s redemptive plan – that would be unscriptural and downright wrong. Let’s not forget also that before Abraham was a Jew, he was a gentile. He was made a Jew by the will of God, not by his own will or the will of any man.
Jews are the chosen people. Period. If a Jew turns my kid gay, I would thank him/her/xer.

DT acknowledges that the the Jewish people will come back into the land it has possessed and it will thrive again. So Israel has nukes. Big deal. God is in charge and Israel’s existence has been threatened again since 1948.
So sad to see you knock this concept. Read Romans. It’s not elevating something unbiblical – it’s recognizing that the church has not replaced Israel. God has plans for both, but this doesn’t mean that the Jewish people don’t need to be evangelized. They get to Heaven the same way everyone else does.
