ERLC Unveils World’s Worst Anti-Abortion Slogan for ‘Stand For Life Conference’
The ERLC is one of the worst organizations in the world, if not for nothing else than their impossibly antagonist view on abolishing abortion. Though framing themselves as pro-life, they have hampered the abolition of abortion at every turn.
Last year at the SBC conference, they, along with SBC presidential nominee Bart Barber purposefully tried to stop the resolution to abolish abortion from happening, being thwarted only when then it was taken to a floor vote and overruled. Afterward, ERLC elites went on to argue why they were against it, instead favoring legislation that was incrementalist in nature.
Then months ago, as Louisiana sought to pass a bill to abolish abortion, the ERLC again spoke out against it. They released an open letter opposing the bill, disparaging it for going too far in its efforts to abolish abortion. They were ideologically joined with far-left women’s rights groups and Planned Parenthood, the apex predator of the baby-killing world, who also opposed the bill and declared unequivocally that they could not support it. Planned Parenthood was pressuring its supporters to defeat the bill and The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission was doing the exact same thing, both pushing from different sides to attain the same goal, on account that the new bill would treat the killing of a two-year-old the same as a two-month-old baby in the womb.
The ERLC explained in the letter while it’s true that babies are victims of abortion, so are the mothers as well, and it would not be fair to the mothers to enact consequences upon them for their actions, writing:
“…Abortion has taken the lives of more than 63 million unborn American children. But the tragedy of abortion isn’t limited to the unborn child who loses her life. The mother who aborts her child is also Roe’s victim….
Women are victims of abortion and require our compassion and support as well as ready access to counseling and social services in the days, weeks, months, and years following an abortion. As national and state pro-life organizations, representing tens of millions of pro-life men, women, and children across the country, let us be clear: We state unequivocally that any measure seeking to criminalize or punish women is not pro-life and we stand firmly opposed to such efforts.
…we must ensure that the laws we advance to protect unborn children DO NOT HARM THEIR MOTHERS…turning women who have abortions into criminals IS NOT THE WAY. (Capitalized emphasis theirs)
So we know that the ERLC does not want to abolish abortion. Instead, they have come up with their own slogan for the upcoming ‘Stand for Life’ conference and it’s about the worst we can imagine.
“The Stand for Life Conference seeks to inspire, mobilize, and activate a new generation of pro-lifers while at the same time breathing new life into the current pro-life movement. Everything changes when everyone is seen as a creation made in the image of God, and you can join us in bringing about that change.“
When is abortion ever necessary? Why would imply that abortion is ever necessary?
“Hey guys, let’s make the poisoning, gassing, and dismemberment of children in the womb ‘unnecessary’. Let’s make the act of using suction, scalpels, and curettes to turn baby bodies into a slurry of blood and bone to be ‘unnecessary.”
They exchange the abolitionist’s clarion call for ‘abolish abortion in all its forms’ with ‘making abortion unnecessary?”
This shows where their heart is.
Along with speakers Nick Vujicic, Jamie Ivey, Lauren McAfee, Elizabeth Graham and Matt Chandler, musical guests will include Lecrae.
This is the same Lecrae who has been openly deconstructing his faith to the point that he has stopped going to church because he doesn’t know what church is anymore.
This is the same Lecrae who was the musical guest for a campaign event of openly pro-abortion pastor and Democratic Senator Ralph Warnock
This is the same Lecrae who argued that the best way to stop women from killing their babies is to bribe them with a lot of money.
This is the same Lecrae won after Biden won the election in 2021, tweeted out “Feels good to be on the side side of history…Which of course is the anti-racism, pro-life from womb to tomb, care for the marginalized, anti-Christian nationalism, anti-abuse of power side.” Because the Democrats are definitely known for their ‘womb-to-tomb’ care.
In short, this event is quissientially ERLC
No, they’re not victims of abortion. They’re victims of their own conscience. They get an abortion thinking it’s ok, in large part because it’s legal, then later the truth hits home and they realize they selfishly murdered a child for their own convenience. Decriminalization of murder is a large part of the cause of the grief, suffering, and guilt that follows. Their suffering and pain stems from the fact that they realize they’re guilty before God, regardless of how much the likes of the ERLC tries to tell them otherwise. And by failing to follow God’s Word, instead leaning on their own understanding, the ERLC are only encouraging more pain and grief.
Only God can take away their guilt and pain, and that starts with repentance.
The ERLC’s reasoning is not only based on a set of godless ethics, that is not grounded in God’s standards, it is circular. That circular “reasoning” basically says, “abortion causes pain and distress, so it should, to some extent, remain legal, in order to avoid pain and distress”
It’s a lot simpler to just humble yourself and do things God’s way. Do that, and you can’t go wrong.
And that includes the severe punishment that God requires for sins such as rape.
My last pay check was $8750 just working 12 hours for every week. (~nc111 My neighbor have found the estimation of $15k for a long time and she works around 20 hours for seven days.
I can not trust how direct it was once I tried

Carol Swain told a story on Facebook recently that when she was a professor a student came and in talking to her found out her roommate had had an abortion. The murderer felt every baby she saw after that was looking at her accusing her that the baby knew what she had done to hers. Her torment never ended. That is why these demons are so angry. One: they are possessed by evil and their conscience is convicting them for what they did.
And with that I will say that the teenager who gave birth to me at 15 or 16 thought more of me to place me for an adoption instead of being raised by a teenager without a father. My parents are my parents and always will be. But I always ask God to bless her on my birthday because she gave a precious gift to me and my life would have been very, very different if I had been raised by her. I have also said if I received a phone call one day that she was on her death bed and her last wish was to know I was okay and that she had made the right decision, I would leave immediately to thank her for thinking more of me than herself and for the life she allowed me to have.
Adoption gets a horrible stigma today of “the child you gave up” when it is anything but. I also think today’s “open adoptions” are again thinking of everyone but the child.
