‘Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden’ Has Died

10 months ago, ‘Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden’ launched to much fanfare. These men and women championed voting for the Democrats as having the most pro-life ethic of all. After a quick perusal of their mission statement and signees, it quickly became apparent that it’s about as dismal of a group as one might expect. After months of waiting to see which treacherous high-profile evangelicals would go a-dancing with the Democrats, it became clear that no one really did

Calling themselves “Evangelicals leaders’ and deeming the Democrat’s overall agenda to be closer than the Republicans of what they understand a “biblically balanced agenda” to be, the list of primary signers included:

Richard Mouw, President emeritus of Fuller Seminary (And The Gospel Coalition contributor)
John Huffman, Board Chair emeritus, Christianity Today
Jerushah Duford, “Billy graham’s granddaughter”
Ron Sider, President emeritus, Evangelicals for Social Action,
Brenda Salter McNeil, Pastor and Racial Reconciler
Pastor Richard Foster

Biden would deliver on the pro-life issue., Biden would save the babies.

But he didn’t, instead, he instituted a series of policies designed to shore up Roe V Wade and ensure abortion becomes entrenched in our society.

Five months ago, in one of the finest examples of “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” known to man, the progressive group became upset and cried foul that the Biden-Haris Presidency kept to their campaign promises and passed legislation that is anything but pro-life, becoming “disappointed” and “upset” that Biden’s $1.9 trillion bailout excluded provisions for the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer-funded abortion.

This prompted them to write and put out a sniveling, pathetic open letter about how they felt “used” and “betrayed” by the Biden Presidency, describing how “many Evangelical and Catholics took risks to support Biden publicly” and because they vouched for him, Biden and the Dems need to “honor their courage” by not supporting pro-choice legislation.

Within months of that open letter “Pro-life Evangelicals for Biden’ died as surely as the babies sucked out of the womb.

All their social media was deleted and their website was taken down. Everything is defunct. https://www.prolifeevangelicalsforbiden.com/ was no more, replaced with a sad testament to their great shame. They didn’t even last a year.

None of the founding signees have spoken publicly about the implosion of their organization, or repented of their naivety and stupidity, as far as we can tell.

  1. Good. Their godless cause deserves the same fate as the unborn children they’ve so tirelessly campaigned to slaughter.

  2. They were spiritually dead long before. But they’re not naive. They knew exactly what they were doing. They are not just uninformed people who were misled. They are false prophets, tickling many ears, who knowingly and deliberately did the misleading.

    1. It’s not like the democrat party just suddenly changed yesterday. It’s way too late to claim naivety. The time for that excuse passed decades ago.

  3. This group was always for Abortion, just pretend to be against it. Jesus talk about these people! Matt 7:21It is not everyone that says to me, ‘My Lord, my Lord”, who enters the Kingdom of Heaven, but whoever does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, ‘My Lord, my Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name have cast out demons, and have done many mighty works in your name?’ 23And then I will confess to them, ‘I have never known you, remove yourselves far from me, you workers of evil.’

  4. I don’t think the individuals who did it really care all that much about Biden’s pro-death policies. I think they just wanted to provide cover for evangelicals to vote Democrat.
