A Gallery Of The Faithful Gathering For Church. Album 3

The third album in our series showing our brothers and sisters in Christ gathering for church service as faithful believers. While going to church does not make one a believer, refusing to faithfully attend a local church should seriously call that faith into question. This is a glimpse of what the global church is up to, and will feature images in chronological order, week to week, of the men and women being obedient to the scriptures. As always, click to enlarge.

  1. It’s interesting to try to figure out what traditions are pictured.
I see stereotypical evangelicals in dark rooms, hands raised, probably swaying to pop music to get a good worship buzz on.
I see what looks like more traditional Baptist or Presbyterian church.
    I see traditional Black churches.
I see Anglicans responsive reading from the Rite 1 or Rite 2 order of service.
I see Anglican or Lutheran or Methodist clergy dressed in green vestments for “ordinary time.”
I sometimes see churches that might be overseas.
I’m surprised at the number of churches still outside, but I don’t know what state they’re in or how long ago these pictures were taken.
