Remember when we got together in April 2020, against health guidelines, to petition the government to stop infringing upon our civil liberties because of a mild respiratory virus? Do you remember the press saying how irresponsible and dangerous we were?

We petioned the government and they did not listen. So instead, we had to fight like dying men to win the primaries to stack the legislature with conservatives. Then, we had to fund our candidates and fight with them in the general election. And then, we had to fight tooth, fang, and claw to pass legislation overturning COVID policies. And then, we had to plead endlessly with our new governor to do what’s right and sign the bills.

There’s a lesson. No matter our numbers, no matter our outrage, and no matter our passion, we must win elections and then tell our leaders what to do.

God answered the prayers made that day at our rally, 13 months later. Montana is free.
