Hasbro Offers ‘A.I. Powered’ Ouija Board to ‘Access the Spirit Realm’

In an egregious act of demonic divination, toymaker and multinational conglomerate Hasbro created an AI-powered Ouiji Board, inviting folks to visit their website and interact with the virtual program, so that they may “dive into a new dimension” and receive “access to the spirit realm”

Thankfully, the event was for one day only, on November 1, when visitors to Ouija.com could experience divination with the dead through their computer screens.

One user recounted their experience this way:

Upon going to the aptly-named website, I was greeted with creepy music, an age verification menu, and a “guide to contacting spirits” that advised me to be clear about who I was addressing and what I was asking. I was also warned that “spirits” can become distracted after five or more interactions, and that if I wished to speak to a new one all I had to do was type “goodbye.” Pretty simple. In keeping with the holiday, I chose to speak with Edgar Allen Poe. Or an AI-enhanced version of him, at least.

Of course, this sounds harmless (or at least stupid.) But while some may say this is simply the product of binary computer programming, any experience that purports to speak to the dead in this way, no matter how mild or contrived, should be avoided at all costs and thoroughly condemned.
