Christian Clothing Brand Founder Sentenced to 35 Years in Prison for CSA

Three years ago, Jesse Aceves, founder of The Way Brand clothing company popular with many Christian Hip Hop artists, was arrested and charged with numerous cases of child molestation going back nearly 20 years. Aceves was well known in the CHH community, where he would book artists for concerts and events, and they in turn would display and model his merch.

According to reports:

Fontana Police Department spokesman Richard Guerrero said one of the victims was a girl who alleged she had been molested by Aceves between 4- and 17-years-old.

“When she learned of another victim being abused by the same suspect the two victims reported it to patrol officers and detectives became involved, at which time detectives learned about the third victim,” Guerrero said.

Earlier this week, Aceves, 33, was convicted of his crimes and has been sentenced 35 years in a state prison.

  1. He was sentenced to 35 years. I believe he should’ve received more severe punishment. Like stoned to death.
