Greg Locke Appears on CNN, Struggles to Explain what a ‘Pandemic’ is
Pastor Greg Locke of Tennesse was featured in an interview with CNN for a segment regarding rural America’s disinclination towards wearings masks and taking the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine. With Locke claiming he has never worn a mask (he’s lying, he has) he does represent a certain segment of the population that CNN would love to cover and show to their mocking viewers.
Locke (See more on him here) has been a vocal critic of mask-wearing, even going so far as to threaten to beat up a Dunkin Donut’s worker who asked him to wear one, telling him “I’m going to kick your teeth down your throat.”
His Church never stopped meeting during the lockdowns and the vast majority of his congregations do not wear masks. During the segment with reporter Elle Reeve, after Locke denied that we were in the middle of a pandemic, Reeve asked him to explain himself, resulting in a terse interaction where Locke was unable to explain or define what a pandemic is, prompting Locke’s publicist to step in and move Reeve on to a different question. LOCKE: I’m saying the sickness is real. I’m saying the pandemic is not.
REEVE: I don’t understand what you mean when you say “pandemic’s not real.”
LOCKE: … The pandemic is not real.
REEVE: But what do you think a pandemic is?
LOCKE: Not… Not COVID-19.
REEVE: But what do you think a pandemic is?
LOCKE: It is no pandemic.
PUBLICIST (offscreen): I think we’ve stuck on the pandemic question too many times.
REEVE: Well, why can’t you answer it?
LOCKE: It’s ridiculous… I did. There’s no pandemic! COVID-19 is not a pandemic.
REEVE: But what would a pandemic… But what is a pandemic then?
LOCKE: Not what we’re experiencing. I’m 44 years old. We’ve not had one in my lifetime, so I don’t know. And this is not it.
The classical definition of a pandemic may be defined as “an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area, crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people. ”
Pandemics can be either mild or severe, and issues of virology, immunity, and disease severity are irrelevant to its nature and classification.
Locke would have been better of saying “There’s a pandemic, but I don’t believe it’s that bad.” But getting got by CNN? That one will likely sting for a bit.

Look up past articles about Locke on here as I believe he was caught up in a scandal a few years back cheating on his wife with his secretary and that should be disqualified from ministry.
I do not understand why the article starts with pastor greg locke. An accurate description would be hireling greg locke…
Amen! I agree with his statement though: there is no pandemic, but he is also not a pastor… he left his wife and children for his secretary…enough said!
Pastor Locke knows he is lying about the pandemic. Look at his eyes and watch his body language. He has to keep himself from cracking up laughing more than once. He is just showing out to try to get his “flock” to respond the way he wants them to do.
Also, plagues are permitted by God. Satan doesn’t have that type of power. GOD allows plagues to discipline sin.
13 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7)
If we had done what we were told in the Bible, we would have never had this mess in the first place:
Isaiah 26: 20 Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourselves a little while until the wrath has passed.21For behold, the LORD is coming out of His dwelling to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth will reveal her bloodshed and will no longer conceal her slain”
Do what the law says:
Romans 13: 1) All of you must obey the government rulers. Everyone who rules was given the power to rule by God. And all those who rule now were given that power by God. 2 So anyone who is against the government is really against something God has commanded. Those who are against the government bring punishment on themselves. 3 People who do right don’t have to fear the rulers. But those who do wrong must fear them. Do you want to be free from fearing them? Then do only what is right, and they will praise you. 4 Rulers are God’s servants to help you. But if you do wrong, you have reason to be afraid. They have the power to punish, and they will use it. They are God’s servants to punish those who do wrong. 5 So you must obey the government, not just because you might be punished, but because you know it is the right thing to do.
