One Million Moms Protest Blasphemous Use of Lord’s Name on Popular TV Show
The conservative advocacy group One Million Moms has set their sights on the TV show’ Deal or No Deal Island,’ after the well-known game show failed to ‘bleep out’ multiple uses of the phrase G.. d…”
A press release from the group, which is a part of American Family Radio, shared more about their new campaign:
BC’s program Deal or No Deal Island is a spin-off of the Deal or No Deal game show. This new TV-PG-rated show takes place in an island setting rather than a network studio. But that is not the only change the network has made to its game show programming.
During the episode televised on January 23, 2025, NBC bleeped out several curse words, and rightly so, but the network did not bleep out the profane use of the Lord’s name. In this particular episode, “G.. d…” was actually stated three times, but NBC apparently did not think bleeping out the blatant and profane use of God’s name was necessary. Many of our supporters have submitted complaints on this serious issue of NBC censoring most profanity but not censoring the profane use of God’s name.
No other religion would tolerate such blatant blasphemy, and Christians will not either. As stated in the Ten Commandments, God clearly prohibits the use of His name in vain. The Ten Commandments are there for believers to live by since God knows what is best.
Explaining that “it is completely unnecessary for NBC to include profanity in their shows, and it is offensive to Christians,” the group also insists that it is “also irresponsible because children are likely watching during the show’s prime time airing, and children repeat what they hear.”
So far, the group has amassed a petition of 13,703 signers at the time of this article.

Here’s what I do……………….. https://mysp.ac/5pInJ
Same on St. Denis, a comedy on NBC. Even more explicit, a character said, “JC,” and not in the form of worship. I noticed it immediately.
Just an idea, but maybe the legacy media should all loose the rights to broadcast on the public airways? We need new broadcasters that actually produce programing worth watching. You know, like the currents ones used to do in past decades. Something has fundamentally changed with legacy media and it all started with O’Bama. I wonder why he did that?
File a complaint with the FCC, once all of Trump’s nominees are in place. The broadcast license CAN be revoked by the FCC. Given Trump’s first two weeks, there’s a very good chance that licenses will be revoked for certain offenses.
Why would anyone watch such garbage in the first place?
Why isn’t anybody angry with the FBomb? When WWII was over, the phrase “cussed like a sailor” was a reality. But even sailors wouldn’t use that word in front of women…because it was degrading. Now Joe Rogan and his ilk can’t finish a sentence without effin every breath. I am sick of it. And politicians are bad, too. Let’s clean up the language of public representatives and public airways…maybe the podcasters will get the message.
